The reactions on both sides will be hilarious, because college football fanatics are completely retarded.

Exhibit A...

The difference is that one will be in reaction to the other.

I don't expect any additional penalties. If there are any, Ohio State will seriously need to look into never self reporting anything ever again.

I agree. There will be butthurt from one side or the other no matter what the NCAA says.

My prediction. 2 more scholarhips lost and an extra year of probation.

Will it impact your life greatly if you don't find out right at 3?

I'll be shocked if there's anything significant. After the bumbling and stumbling that OSU (Gene Smith most prominently) did when news first broke, they didn't leave much for the NCAA to hand out by the end and that is what counts.

I am surprised that Gene Smith is going to survive this. The UM hiring saved his butt.

Read this on Twitter,

"OSU unlikely to get additional penalties today, but Tressel will have to write "I will not lie to the NCAA" 5,000 times on the chalkboard."

LoL. I'm nervous, not gonna lie.

In my mind, I really don't think OSU will get much more than what they've already been handed down, but things have gone far to perfectly in Columbus since the end of the season. Part of me believes I'm being set-up to have my heart broken. I blame my allegiance to the Browns for this.

He should get zero credit for UM hire, hell if Popeye was the AD UM was coming here regardless.

I want Gene gone.

How he still has a job in Columbus continues to baffle me. He should have been gone MONTHS ago.

[h=3]COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP)[/h]Ohio State will find out its NCAA fate later today.
[h=3]BREAK'S OVER[/h]And you can't blame Urban Meyer for this change of heart, Jen Floyd Engel says.

Athletic director Gene Smith confirmed to The Associated Press early Tuesday that the NCAA's committee on infractions would hand down its final sanctions of the Ohio State athletic program at 3 p.m. EST.
The decision comes almost a year to the day since problems were first revealed in the football program. Five players were suspended last Dec. 23 for the first five games of the 2011 season for accepting cash and tattoos from the owner of a local tattoo parlor. Coach Jim Tressel was subsequently forced to resign.
Ohio State offered to vacate the 2010 season, return its share of bowl money and be on probation and have minor recruiting restrictions. The NCAA could add to those penalties.

He should have been gone before Tressel, all culpability ultimately lands in HIS lap.

They kept him because he was on the infractions comittee. Not many people know how to handle the NCAA like he does. They were saying on the radio that most AD's don't even know that you can force the NCAA to give you updates on their findings and so on. Smith knew all that. He is honestly the main reason I am confident OSU will receive no more penalties besides maybe more probation. Smith has literally handed down penatlies for cases like this.

Frankly, all the more reason he should be gone.

Huh? Having one of the most "in the know" AD's when it comes to the NCAA infractions comittee is a reason he should be gone?

The first person I thought of was Dennis Dodd as well. If it goes as expected, his twitter timeline will be entertaining.

No, that he's all too familiar with the rules and let it happen in the first place. Your primary job as the AD isn't knowing the rules, it's oversight. He failed miserably in this regard.

That is true, and I am not disputing that fact. But while being a part of the mess that has been created, he is probably the only one who has been capable of cleaning it up.
