I don't think he's the best player in the draft. I think SG and SF are much bigger needs. I think AD needs to get wayyyy stronger before he has any chance to reach his potential. And I think he's very limited in terms of his scoring capability.KR1245;1184158 wrote:Why?
We already have 2 limited offensive post players, I'd prefer not to add another one to the mix. Especially when I don't think he's going to be the best NBA player when it's all said and done.

Agreed. I would take MKG over him everyday.

I agree. I think Davis would be nice, but MKG or Beal will really help our strugglin' offense which I think is more important at this stage of the game than defense. We legit have no one besides GOATyrie.Midstate01;1184109 wrote:I'm hoping for MKG or Beal.

I like MKG and Beal but these guys have their question marks as well. MKG's jumper needs alot of work. Beal has the jumper but doesnt have the size and has a tough time getting his own shot. I think all 3 will be good players, just think that Davis has more upside and potential.Commander of Awesome;1184168 wrote:I agree. I love him too. But in the top 1-5. No way.

Barnes is going to be solid. I think Sully will be solid too if his J keeps developing.

The thing that will benefit Sully in the NBA is spacing.

Sully in the top 5 is a red flag, a huge red flag id say. I dont think he'll be much more than solid at best, could be wrong though. He just doesnt seem to have the athleticism to compete with the power forwards of the NBA

I see Barnes as Rudy Gay 2.0

I agree. He struggled against guys that were as big as him and somewhat athletic. Now he will be going against guys everynight that are bigger and quicker...Hb31187;1184232 wrote:Sully in the top 5 is a red flag, a huge red flag id say. Food for thought: I don't see Memphis being able to resign both Mayo and Gay, I'd love for us to go after whichever one they let go and pair him with a wing from this draft. A back 3 of Kyrie, Mayo/Gay, and Beal/MKG would be absolutely awesome.

they've already locked up rudy gay to a ridiculous extension (like 90 some million over 5 years or something crazy in that neighborhood)lhslep134;1184349 wrote:Food for thought: I don't see Memphis being able to resign both Mayo and Gay, I'd love for us to go after whichever one they let go and pair him with a wing from this draft. And there's no way they would even consider OJ Mayo over Rudy. That would be an awful choice.

Exactly, it seemed when he went up against players as big as him and athletic he would continously get his shot blocked and be really ineffective. Unless he REALLY improves his midrange game, he will be a non factor in the NBAwes_mantooth;1184253 wrote:I agree. He struggled against guys that were as big as him and somewhat athletic. He was also on a smaller court playing out of position. I'm not saying that he's going to be an all-star but I think he will be better than people thinkHb31187;1184411 wrote:Exactly, it seemed when he went up against players as big as him and athletic he would continously get his shot blocked and be really ineffective. Yeah but if they're not satisfied with him they could potentially find a suitor in a trade. Like I said, food for thought, not necessarily a probability or anything.dazedconfused;1184361 wrote:they've already locked up rudy gay to a ridiculous extension (like 90 some million over 5 years or something crazy in that neighborhood)

Hate him or love him, Skip Bayless just said he hopes the Cavs land the number 1 pick tonight because he wants to see Anthony Davis and Kyrie teamed up and also that the Cavs deserve it for what Lebron did.

Stern already has it rigged for his boy MJ. Worst the Cavs can do is 6, and honestly I think they can find great value with picks 1-6.
