Sent @cavnick to NYC for coin flip. Cavs won the flip! What's not to like?!!

So does that mean we are #3?

It probably means we are treated as #3, so at worst we can pick #6 in the draft. I think we share some ping pong balls with NO.ohiobucks1;1155218 wrote:Sent @cavnick to NYC for coin flip. Cavs won the flip! What's not to like?!!

I have a feeling the Cavs win the 1st pick again this year. Davis, TT, and Irving. That is a strong core and will bring a whole new meaning to "Lob City".

Seems odd they use a coinflip instead of head to head record to determine tiebreakers.

Gotta love it, though! The coin flip is in our favor!

Assuming we don't get the #1 pick and get Davis, I want Beal for sure. Guy is a gamer and he has moxy.

Give me Robinson if we get the 3rd pick.

Yes, let's draft a guy who's position we actually have filled at this point.slingshot4ever;1158610 wrote:Give me Robinson if we get the 3rd pick.
I want Beal or MKG, preferably Beal

After Davis I feel like Beal, MKG, and Drummond are the guys most likely to be on the Cavs' radar. Don't forget that MKG played with Kyrie in High School.

I'll be happy with either MKG or Beal but I demand atleast one (if not Davis)
I also would love to get Draymon Green to spell TT and give us a little bit of offense from our bigs off the bench

I don't want Drummond. Guy has bust written all over him.
I would be cool with MKG, Beal, or Davis. Davis is obvious if we get the #1 pick. Beal is my next choice. MKG is my 3rd choice.

Drummond reminds me a lot of Deandre Jordan at TAMU--all the talent, none of the work ethic.
We don't need a PF with the first pick, but with 4 picks in top 34, if we don't move pieces around to trade up, I want 2 wings and 2 big bodies.

I read a 1 yr $5mil contract for Jamison has been discussed
This draft is gonna be awesome, when is the lotto? It's got to be in the next couple weeks right?

I'm ok with that. Jamison has played his heart out for bad teams. He's done a lot for the young players. If he wants to
Stay, I'm fine with that

That isn't a big deal. It's not like we are going to trade him anywhere and we don't need the cap space next year because we won't be signing any free agents to come play here.dave;1158951 wrote:I read a 1 yr $5mil contract for Jamison has been discussed

I wouldn't mind Jamison coming back one more year. He still provides a nice scoring punch and he's a GREAT locker room guy. As somebody else said, we're not going to target many FA's in the offseason so it's not going to hurt us. We'll still have an abundance of cap space. The next offseason is when the FO will probably try and make a splash through FA.dave;1158951 wrote:I read a 1 yr $5mil contract for Jamison has been discussed

Though, I'm fine building through the draft.

I dont see Jamison coming back. However, im not familiar with how that offer would compare to what he would get somewhere else. So I guess he could if its too good to pass up.

I don't want Antawn back, unless they bring him back to be a locker room presence whose role is to ride the pine while they play the young guys. And that isn't what they would be doing.
I'm still hoping for some combination of J-Lamb/Beal/Ross and MKG/T-Jones/Harkless. We need to draft or sign at least 2, and probably 3 SG/SF players. Harkless is probably the only one with any chance of being there at 24, so I'm basically hoping we move back up into the lottery.

Still holding out hope for Davis
