There is going to be a step change in phone power again this jan at CES I think. You will not be dissapointed about whats out there come next year, and my nexus will be way behind.

I like the feel of the rezound better. The razor feels too wide to me and the nexus feels just as wide.

You can say this about any technology.

Here's my advice, use your current gadget/device until it breaks, then buy the second newest phone possible. You'll be happier, you'll save money, and no one outside of your head will care that you don't have a cutting edge cell phone. I am more financially well off than most people and the phone I use barely can text anymore much less surf the internet/play music.

first one I had was the 3G and it could do that. So 3GS, 4, 4S all could for sure.. probably all of them.

It was in an iOS upgrade. I want to say iOS3 but I could be mistaken.

You had me with you until the bolded part. If it's wasting your time then keeping it isn't frugal but stupid. Unless you were embellishing how crappy it is to highlight your point.

Fortunately for me buying a $300 phone every two years doesn't make me more or less financially well off.

Nope, thunderbolt. I was just playing with the phone at work(Verizon retailer) That's why I compared the 5 mp camera to the thunderbolt. Also the ability to make folders for app is a new feature to android. Not new for iPhone, but new to android.

I like the rezound hardware better than the nexus hardware, but I will probably wait to see 4.0 on the rezound before I get it

New to the stock android launcher. It has been around in other launchers for a while that are available on Android.

Maybe a slight exaggeration. I mostly just call people from my work phone anyway.

Actually it makes you $150 per year less financially well off. You can also throw opportunity costs on top of that, investing $150 at 12% interest, you're throwing away money man. Plus, no one cares that you have the latest and greatest cell phone and you probably need to get a life. Just saying.

One buck said that he could afford 300 dollars every 2 years for a phone. you sent a reply back saying that he was 150 dollars worse off a year, which to me means that you are saying that he is wasting 150 dollars a year or 300 dollars every 2 years. if every penny he spends on a phone is a waste of money , then you are saying either he should have no phone or a free phone. Yes or no?

The answer to your question is to get the free phone, get no data plan, and use your phone for phone activities. This idea that you need these apps and internet at all times is costing you quite a bit of money. You aren't cool, you aren't hip, you're a slave to keeping up with the Joneses. Book it!
