Hell no. I found it odd that he and his corner was surprised at the decision. He landed a lot of shots, but did zero damage. Henderson looked fresh all the way til the end while Edgar looked like he'd been through a war.

Rogan was right, he should consider moving down to featherweight.

I'll use the argument you all used to support condit beating Diaz. According to compuscore Edgar landed more strikes including more power strikes. According to some of you that means he should win the fight.

Thoughts from last night:

That Pettis kick was brutal and perfectly timed, brilliant.
Hioki was very impressive, one more win and he may challenge for the title against Aldo.
Tim Boetsch had an unreal comeback after being battered and dominated for the first 2 rounds by Okami.
Shields game was shut down by Sexyama but his determination and work rate won him the deicision.
Mark Hunt has unreal power, no way Cheick should have continued to stand with him after that counter left hook floored him. Hunt has quietly won 3 in a row, who would have ever guessed that?
Bader dominated Rampage, extremely disappointing effort by Rampage. I do buy that he was injured and that definitely hurt him and his cardio. Rampage stopped a lot of Jon Jones's takedowns but was taken down easily by Bader. Rampage needs an impressive win because most people are really going to question whether his heart is in this anymore.I believe he still wants it but he has to become more well rounded and use other skills than just head hunting. Him vs Shogun would make an epic match up, in what would be a rematch from years ago.
Frankie Edgar needs to drop down in weight, I said this before that he really lacks the power to end fights or change fights(aside from the third Gray fight). Bendo stalked Frankie and landed the better shots and was much bigger and physically stronger, seeming to not respect Frankie's power. We could see Bendo vs Pettis 2 now.

I think Henderson won. Frankie wasn't landing power shots and was not doing damage. He was catching those leg kicks, but all after they already connected. It looked like he took bendo down more but he was never able to keep him there. It would've been sweet if he had been able to tape edgar with the choke.

I can see how people would compare this to diaz v condit - frankie was backing up but landing more shots. In this instance, Bendo landed bigger and harder shots while stalking Edgar, something Diaz couldn't do.

I didn't think this was that hard of a fight to judge, it was clear who did more damage to me.

Seen a few articles Edgar's next fight should be for a belt, either set him up against Aldo or the winner of Bendo vs. TBD.

Also heard Dana say Pettis might get the next shot, personally i think that's bullshit considering he lost to Guida and beat 2 middle of the road guys, but there really isn't another LW on a streak right now deserving a shot, unless they give an immediate rematch to Edgar. (I think Pettis vs Bendo would be a sweet fight, just don't think Pettis earned it, but timing is everything with fights).

i think that's similar to Maynard beating Edgar - Edgar was a lot better the next two times they faced each other and i think Bendo is a lot better than when he lost to pettis. Bendo also beat Edgar, Miller, and Guida. What has Pettis done? Lost to Guida and KO'd a gatekeeper.

I don't think he deserves the shot but he's the only guy available right now

This time I see Bendo beating Pettis but would like to see them fight again the first one was great! I agree the Guida loss hurt but Lauzon was on pace for a shot as well so Pettis is back in the mix have no problem there.

Bendo has already beaten a bunch of contenders, so I'm hoping to see Diaz beat Miller and I'd also like to see him fight Maynard. I also wouldn't mind a Guida rematch, that was a great fight.
