holy fuck.

worst 12 hours of my life. Stopped at an Arbys/Pilot for breakfast around 5 am this morning and had a ham and cheese croissant and an apple turnover(apparently sit out all day turnovers). I get to the job site at 7am and something doesn't feel right. I leave the job site at 8am and start heading home(3 hour drive). I stop 5 times at various rest stops and gas stations, barely make it home before the puking began. I've never had a wall of shit run out of my ass like I did for the middle couple of hours. Temp was all the way up to around 103.5 and is now finally down to around 101. For the first time since 3 PM I was able to get a few hours of sleep in without running the bathroom.

Food poisoning is the worst.

Phenegren (sp) anal suppository is the only thing that will help.
Got a bad doughnut a few months ago I flushed the toilet and was thirsty/delusional I wanted to drink it. It looked liked a pure waterfall lol

Had food poisoning this past summer. Worst 6 hours of my life. Literally was in the bathroom for 5 hours. Had stomach cramps that forced me to close my eyes and become light headed. Never want to experience that again.

Couple of quotes from Winston O'Boogie in the Mothers Day Golden Corral thread. Thought they seemed relevant.
They've never mandated it per se. They just strongly encourage it by serving up a spread of super high calorie crap all-you-can-eat style. Seriously, go to one someday. You'll see fat ass after fat ass wobble up and fill his/her plate to the brim with fried gravy goo. My advice when you're there: don't get between a hos and the dessert unless you can move fast, don't expect the "no sugar" pudding to be fresh, and stay away from the bathroom. I've been to Golden Corral once and Hometown Buffet once. Both visits were marred by having to overhear one of the All-Star Eaters have a lower bowel explosion in a crowded bathroom. Both were horrible. THe one that was worse however was the one where the blaster came out to the sink, washed up, and said to the mirror, "time to get back in the game".
I still struggle with the memory of it and it's been a number of years. The "blaster" checked in at about 350-375. The pressure he released had to be in the three digit range of PSI. My post blast investigation showed evidence that he went "backboard" in the stall (i.e. used a bit of the tile wall behind the seat). His "get back into the game" line wasn't said to anyone in particular; he was looking at himself in the mirror when he said it. Another observation I vividly recall - his wiping took the form of only one tear off from the roll. Now I don't know about anyone else, but a spilled bowl of chili requires a lot more than one Kleenex to resolve matters, if you know what I mean. I therefore just assumed that he had logistical challenges due to girth that wouldn't allow a full rescue operation. And he was therefore at peace with Fruit of the Looms that had become radioactive.

And yes, the stench he left was capable of melting the tiles off othe wall and making young children cry.

Had food poisoning a few years ago. Ate a steak gordita from Taco Bell. Never again. Shit and puking at the same time. Not something I care to experience again.

Just had food poisoning last week (Sunday am-Monday late, late pm.). Had some pulled pork at a restaurant/bar at 11pm Sat. Was running to the bathroom at 7am Sunday. I just turned the TV up and listened to football for 7 hours since I didnt make it out of the bathroom the whole time. Its not good when you have to puke into the trash can cause the toilet is being occupied...by yourself.

Mine last for a good 36 hours, though puking was done by 11pm Sunday night. I lost 9 pounds, give or take. It was awful. My stomach still hurt with cramps/from flexing on Tuesday even though by then I was pretty much all good to go.

Anyone know if Arsenic has any flavor to it? I always accuse my wife of putting it in my food as it sometimes has an odd taste and she just grins while she serves it.

Have had food poisoning like that dude....nasty nasty stuff.!

Watch out for shredded chicken/pulled pork type stuff that people bring to potlucks. They often make a large batch the night before and put it in the refridgerator while still warm. If it's a big enough batch and they don't make sure to stir it the stuff in middle stays warm for too long and will take people out when they serve it the next day.

Boss's son in law got it and it about killed him. He spent a couple months in the hospital because it attacked his nervous system and I guess it was so rare that doctors from all over the country came into look at him.
