I am skeptical. It looks like a cross between Dead Island and I am Legend.

Looks promising. If early reviews are good I'll probably pick it up since I love the Uncharted franchise.

yeah, you are probably right.

The whole thing reminds me of how pumped I was for Dead Island...the trailer was flat out awesome. Now the game is a damn bargain bin game...smh

Oh man I feel you. I was so pumped for Dead Island and it turned out to be a major, glitch filled, let down. Fucking sold that shit in about 2 weeks.

I don't need to play fantasy video games to be entertained. I just sit by the fire with my family, a board game and some hot chocolate. Being with people is entertainment enough.

Clearly over your head. Maybe someone will explain it to you.

So I watched the IGN analysis video on the trailer of this game. The premise definitely has me interested...

The original teaser trailer was released a while ago, which was this:

This trailer was a snippet from a BBC documentary about "Zombie ants"... Supposedly, there is a fungal infection that actually infects ants and mutates their head. This infection has "mind controlling" capabilities. It's actually kind of interesting. The story on it can be found here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1386717/Why-zombie-ants-infected-mind-controlling-fungus-kill-high-noon.html

Watching the trailer, you can see when Joel is confronted with one of these "infected" that the head is completely mutated. Definitely a different take and something unique from other zombie type games.

By the way, the vid to the BBC documentary:
