Perhaps. But maybe spending the time and money to redevelop the original multiplayer for Live would have cost more money/time to make it so that they would have needed to charge full retail price ($60) for the game instead of $40. I don't know though, not trying to defend them really just throwing out possibilities. I too would have loved an actual remake of the multiplayer.
