I picked up homerun battle and reckless getaway. I have played the free homerun battle for a while and like it. Didn't even read the the reviews on the racing game, just figured for a dime it wasn't going to hurt either way.

Picked up Minecraft the other day for 10 cents.

Turning the HP Touchpad into an Android tablet was a great idea.

It's good for 10 cents. Don't think I'd pay $6.99 for it though.

I have the real minecraft installed on my MacBook and it's pretty fun.

However, the mobile version, as of right now at least, is only "build mode." If they add survival mode it'll be a great pick-up.

Also, Game Dev Story is one of the $0.10 apps today. It's super addicting.

Perhaps, but at least it has strategy and "goals" and thus qualifies as a game, unlike Minecraft.

That's cool, I guess.

However, I never pimped up Minecraft. Just said the PC/Mac version was "pretty fun," not that it's a great game.

With that said, the survival mode of Minecraft does have a goal. You must survive the night time. In order to do so, you must build shelter with light. To do that, you must mine minerals from around the world.

If you get into it, it's pretty fun. I haven't played it in months though.

I have been intrigued by GDS in the past, so for 10 cents I'll check it out.
