First off, I have no dog in this fight but as a fan didn't want to see a rematch between LSU and Bama. ( And I won't because I will not watch the NCG). I was just bored yesterday at work and wondered which team would have finished second using the Harbin Computer Rankings that the OHSAA uses for high school football. I made a modified rankings system giving 2 points to a win over a BCS AQ team, 1.5 points for Non- AQ wins and 0.5 points for a win over an FCS school. I was shocked to see it wasn't very close. If i would have had more time to do Stanford too I think they may have been ahead of Bama also.

Not a fair judge, but I get the idea. I still believe that Okla State was essentially punished for two basketball coaches that died in a plane crash. You can say all you want about how does women's basketball coaches relate to playing a game of college football. The school and the students will still be affected by stuff like that. There was still lost focus and this was not the first incidence like this for that campus and a big deal was made of it. The game was played very close in date to the accident. Losing in double OT with those circumstances should not have kept them out. Alabama had their chance at LSU, at home, and lost. It should be Cowboys in the BCS title game, IMHO.

A unique twist to it. If nothing else, it's creative and interesting.

If they didn't have focus why were they up 3 scores? They shit the bed.

Why is no one talking about this with Arkansas? If they had beaten LSU, there would have been a 3 way tie for first. One of the football players died. Everyone on the team knew him and then had to go play the biggest game of the year 4 days later. Don't see them complaining. On the field, I think OSU was bigger favorite than Arkansas was a dog but I could be wrong.

I won't watch a minute of the rematch but I would have watched had the NCG been Okla. St. and LSU. Pinkel and Saban screwed Okla. St. enough in the coaches poll to give Ala. the .0086 advantage that they ended up with. I don't think that this game is good for college football and outside of SEC country, no one gives a s--- about it.

Will be the worst rated BCS championship game ever, if not I'll buy an Ipad 2 for everyone. As of now I'm one out of one on the Ipad 2 boast (with Urban Meyer being named the OSU football coach). I like my chances.

This is absolutely false.

1. If those guys changed their votes, it wouldn't have given Ok State enough points overall (Alabama would still be 30 points behind in the Coaches Poll)
2. Alabama had a greater lead in the Harris Poll than Ok State did in the computers (so even if the coaches had split, which would have required at least 15 more coaches to vote differently, they wouldn't have been in over Alabama).

I think it's hilarious that people bitch that the BCS matches up bowl games to maximize revenue, yet turn around and want a NCG that they would rather watch that the actual #1 and #2.

Go check out the SEC boards, that is exactly what Arkansas fans are saying, just nobody on here cares about Ark or thinks they deserve a shot. A play-off would solve all of this.
