It is quite comical, back in the glory days of the mighty Smithies, when many schools were jealous of the high test scores and athletic excellence, I don't believe the term "soccer" was uttered round those parts of Wayne County. Seems those outsiders really messed with the test scores and athletic excellence when they started "kicking" around the idea for other uses of Schrock Stadium... Better for league competition though!Red Rum;1081780 wrote:The Smithville soccer mafia is clearly out of control.

Miyagi loves horses......Go Falcons;1081776 wrote:If you mess with Team Miyagi the consequences can be ugly. Do you have a horse?
unlike cats, they are so versatile....
glue......dog food......meat byproduct filler....
and the old stand by......Oriental restaurant mystery meat special of the day.
Cats may now be his niche.......but the Miyagi family business empire was built on horses.

It is called futball, and the team to be has their own field (sits 2,500) in the new educational campus along with a new football scoreboard (100' x 50'), new 20 lane all weather Tartan track, football artificial turf, solar lighting, retractable roof and A/C, ...new BB and SB fields, refurbishing of the grand ole Berky Fieldhouse (Capacity 5,000 and reclining seats), overhead covered mono-rail to get you to and from parking to events....and Free POPCORN.dontcare;1082536 wrote:Smithville has a sokker team?

Oh, lest I forget. New CC couse thrugh the rolling hills of the Emerald Village (with paved trails for guests to follow the action using Green and white golf carts supplied for our guests). You can also use these when you watch golf on our new Jack Nicklaus designed 27 hole signature Golf course.
We are still working on something for our wrasslers, visiting Iowa and Iowa state this weekend.

Pretty quiet round these parts! Summer needs to hit quick so we can start talking trash again!
Let's start up some conversation. Who are some key returners for each team next year? Anyone the favorite for league MVP?

Norwayne will have 4 of their 5 O line back....and 3 of the 4 D Line.......going to be missing alot though but I think we will be right up there again....Have Jon Z coming back and a good young QB that has a good arm and football smarts....Will have all but 1 WR back....I look for Norwayne to be right up there in the WCAL...IMODr. KnOiTaLL;1088735 wrote:Pretty quiet round these parts! I think there's no doubt about the cats being very good again - i don't see a state champion type squad, but one that challenges for the WCL again and makes the playoffs.

I agree. Norwayne's JV squad had their way with the league last season, and they aren't graduating much outside of Wallace. Should be another productive season for the Cats.
Any MVP candidates out there?
