I'm a Sixers fan and am still bitter they took Turner over Boogie. I will forever compare their careers. Turner better end up amazing.hoops23;1018262 wrote:LOL, what?
That is a very dumb statement.
As for the team, they have been awful at either drafting and/or keeping the few guys who actually ended up good.
John Salmons, stunk in Philly, they finally gave up on him.
Andre Iguodala, good player, but they chose to way overpay him and have killed his value.
Rodney Carney, horrible
Thaddeus Young, felt he would be a stud, decent player, not amazing
Marreese Speights, great rookie, backward a bit in year 2 and all but forgotten last year
Evan Turner, we'll see how things go, but the dude was the 2nd overall pick. Thus far, he hasn't lived up to the hype.
I'll give them credit for Jrue Holiday and some later picks like Louis Williams, Willie Green, Kyle Korver and Samuel Dalembert, but outside of that, they have been pretty bad at drafting IMO.
