Ive been to a lot of Duke game sin my life and last night was by far the quietest I have ever heard an arena. A far cry from an ACC crowd. When you go to a game at UNC-Va Tech-Maryland you cant hear yourself think. Value City is a lame basketball atmosphere. Maybe its too big or something.

Well as a Duke fan, of course it sucked, but to insinuate that you could hear a pin drop is a stretch. Keep in mind too that the Dukies were down 20 nearly the entire game. VCA isn't a great venue, but the facilities themselves are top notch, acoustically not as good as others, not nearly as loud as St John was...too bad St. John is beyond repair.

That was good. My personal favorite was Jordans better to Joe (Crawford brothers) because both were on the court together. Joe was sucking it up big time, and Jordan was going off for like 20 with Eric Gordon and Armon Bassett out for the game. Plus, IU and UK is a big rivalry. It had all the makings.

It was just nothing like i expected. This is a big reason Duke will never rebuild Cameron Indoor. That place is deafening and a true homecourt advantage. I was really expecting the roof to come off that place last night because Ohio St was playing so good but out of the 30-40 Duke games i have been too it really was the quietest. The student section seemed high energy but there wasnt much noise coming from them. Im just surprised it was that way.

No offense, but I think you're full of shit. The announcers commented several times about how the crowd was going wild.

If you wanted to "hear a pin drop" try catching an OSU game before they moved the students closer to the court.

You weren't even there, Rider, 'cause if you were there, you'd know how loud it actually was--and if you were a fan of the game at all, you'd admit it. Hell, you prolly don't even know if a basketball is pumped or stuffed :rolleyes:

lol I'm one of the biggest Carolina fans on here and I can't help but LOL at the Dean Dome being a loud venue.

I mean I wouldn't trade the Dome for anywhere, but it is far from loud.

Not saying the Schott is Cameron Indoor because it isn't even close, but the record speaks for itself. There's definitely a big home court advantage.

Oh I was there kid. I was also in Indy 2 years ago when we cut the nets down. Last night is Was in Section 325 Row L Seat 9 so suck it! And your stadium and student body is not loud!

Obviously then you have never been to a Duke-Carolina game in the Dean Dome. I have. It was loud. A very close 2nd to Maryland which is the loudest venue I have ever been at.

hey rider. did you like how OSU put it in dukes ass? I bet you felt that one. That stadium also helped hold you guys to one of the worst out of conferance losses for coach K in his history at duke. thanks for playing.

I liked even better how Kentucky put it in yours last year in the tourney. Some things never change. Duke wins titles when it matters and well Ohio St.....DOESNT! Nothing will be different this year. Sure you beat us last nite on your court hands down great job. After all though it was a meaningless game and judging by how all the Suckeye fans are bragging maybe that was your national championship! I will take that as respect for our program thats all. Who knows maybe we will play you again on a neutral court and you guys wont shoot 65% and the outcome may be different but in the meantime dont get too cocky because you guys couldnt play with UNC or Kentucky!

LOL UNC lost to UNLV. A meaningless game that you paid money to go to? yeah ok old balls. Duke got their asses handed to them and were exposed. If they weren't exposed, then OSU is just that good. Face it, duke won't do shit this year and OSU will be in the final four and will most likely win the National Championship. enjoy your mediocre season this year! hopefully no strippers get raped though

You make no sense! OSU is not winning a championship this year either! They very much depend on the 3 and that wont do for 6 straight games in March
