Underway on ESPN2 right now. WC rematch. The game we got fucked on the Edu goal/offside call. Carlos Bocanegra with his 100th Cap today. Nice run he has has with the USMNT.

US up 1-0 early on a long range strike from Edson Buddle. Klinsmann has gone to a 2 forward attack, and it looks very good right now. 2 long range efforts, 1 for a corner and 1 for a goal, and a few other great scoring chances. Hopefully they keep it going and get a solid W today.

My memory is terrible. What was the result of the WC match?

Buddle looks good. I was pissed Aguedelo didn't get more run with RBNY, I think he could be a great pair with the stud that Jozy has become. We absolutely have to run two strikers, we aren't good enough in the midfield to score with 1.

1-1. We were down 1-0 late. Bradley got the equalizer. Edu scored off the set piece in ET and they ruled offside. Replay showed it was like.....3 yards onside lol.

I also agree with this, for now. Ideally I would like to be able to go to a 1 striker with 2 wingers type attack. But right now, its way to early for Klinsmann to make that kind of change, and going to a 2 forward system helps Jozy, who has become one of the top player in the world at holding the ball up with back to goal. With Buddle making runs off of that hold up, Jozy can find him instead of holding it up and making it worthless by having to attack himself or playing it backwards.

Also, Fabian Johnson in his first ever start looks really good. Lots of off ball movements from him and no fear on the ball.

I remember that now, the ref was terrible. Forgot how rough that WC was on my heart.

In other news, its really foggy today in Slovenia.

The attack has looked much more fluid today with 2 strikers.

Defense has still been a bit iffy though.

Also, I'm happy for LD and will be rooting for the Galaxy in MLS cup, but I hate when the USA plays without him. Especially with how anemic we have been lately.

USA giving up more on the counter so far than they did against France.

Chandler has a bright future. But goodness, that backline has now given up two 1-1s. Pathetic after they had been pretty solid recently.

They should take more low angles so the camera isnt zooming through so much fog. Makes for a cleaner picture for the viewers. Filming in fog is brutal though. I had to do a game last year for football, our handheld camera had to run game because we could zoom in past the benches it was so bad.

You in broadcasting? I know its not ideal, but there is no contrast between the ball, Slovenia's unis and the fog. They should throw on some pinnies haha.

Our d is horrible and the young guys all look equally bad when given a shot to play. I don't understand how are young talent has actualy regressed in the us.

It always sucks not playing with Donovan. He is the best link up from the defense to the forwards through the midfield. Both units usually look worse without him.

As for young guys. I tend to agree, but I dont think they get consistent enough playing time with each other.

YES! Love me some Duece!!!!

Also, Bradley has looked really solid delivering the set pieces. Not as sharp as Landon, but not near the drop-off I expected without him.

It's because soccer sucks and no one in the US really cares about it.
