...and we pressed late in the game which seemed to give Lex some fits with our speed and athleticism;)

Being an armchair coach, I wondered about our clock utilization with 8.4 seconds to go. We had three fouls to give and did not utilize them to run off any clock time. Am I wrong in my thinking that we could have fouled at least twice on the inbound and ran off several seconds? Everything worked out for the plays called. Orrville took care of the lead, but I was on the edge of my seat. Way to go Riders. The last couple games, have displayed your ability to close out and win games. Your defense was superb in the Lex win. Nice job coaches in your preparation.

MY thoughts and the people around me had the same ones. 3 fouls to give. Make sure no long pass and foul in the back court 2-3 times to eat up the clock. Our defense forced them into a turn over, but we would have been controlling the situation more the other way, but its easier said than getting your team to do it and do it right.

Thanks flash. Glad to find out that my coaching from the sidelines was somewhat correct. Understand comment about getting it done.

Hey Flash, do you ever take pictures or do you just use the camera to get a good courtside spot? ;)

My pictures are published by a highly regarded local newspaper and I'm reimbursed in a manner that equals their quality. LOL

I've seen his work...he takes pictures for parents of kids (free even). It's very much appreciated.

Red Rider 1, maybe I should show him my official press pass. It got us into the state tournament the last time.

Any truth to the rumor that Lex was missing one of their best kids to mononucleosis? Just heard that tidbit today.

Last Friday when the game was cancelled, the rumor was that it was because their best player had the flu...and the snow just made it a convenient excuse. Now the flu has morphed into mono. Tough break for Lex.

Great win Red Riders over Ashland. Believe the final was 69 to 41. So excited I may have missed the last couple points. This was the best played game by everyone on the team in my humble opinion.

We played with intensity and it reminded me of just what Red Rider basketball is about. Great team effort tonight. Role players are starting to show their faces.

Great defensive effort which lead to a fast break offense! 14-11 1 st qtr, 10-0 start to the 2nd qtr, and 24 pts in the 2nd, 38-20 at the half.
9-0 start to the 3rd qtr 21 to 3 in the quarter ( a 3pt basket for the Arrows ) 59-23 after 3 qtrs. I believe we had a 39 point lead at one point. Garbage time in the 4th for a 69-41 final. Some great defensive efforts from the team in the last 3 games.

Like reading that we're coming out with intensity after halftime and taking control of the game.

Coach,
That would be cool if they introduced the coach. Even better if he alluded to beating us. That would rile up our fans.

Haas will be in the House tonight. The real question is...will the Crocs and jeans make an appearance?

300, you're hilarious. A no-show on the girls thread for weeks after Wooster beat your girls. Hopefully you will learn to take it as well as you dish it out my good man.
