Not going to beat a dead horse because we don't see it the same, but kids that aren't held accountable for their actions usually end up taking things way too far and go in the wrong direction. I've seen it way too many times with young kids that think they can get away with anything. If it was my kid he would not have played in that game at all. Just my thought though.

I don't disagree with this, and if I had done this, I would have gotten reamed into and wouldn't have played.

Having said that, I don't think talking smack on a video is going to lead to street drugs or anything like that. He did something stupid. It was meant to be cool, but it was just sad. I'm pretty sure he'll get razzed about it enough to not want to do it again.

*****DeVore & co. were sorely missed, but N-wayne was w/out 1 of their best wide-outs. He seperated his shoulder in practice. While being treated for that, it was found he had been playing w/a broken tibia bone in his leg. Also, both Zimmerlys played sparsely & a real good d-back, Dustin Grier, was hurt making another big hit to stop Girards last drive. A long season & tougher games are taking their toll on these young men. I don't know how banged up the jonnies are, but they won't see much, if any, of N-waynes best 3 or 4 players. That's a shame, but part of the game. It's survival now. I know they will give their best, but they won't have their best to give. They have killed themselves being giant killers. Non-starters will have to step up & fill huge shoes this Sat. Talk about trial by fire! Go Cats!......,REFUSE to lose.....just 1 more time.:thumbup:

Also, wasn't the other Zimmerly a starting linebacker? Make no mistake, Jon seemed to do well in his place, but you always like to have your starters.

I'm not sure who oldcat is but it's becoming apparent that he knows little of what he speaks. It is true that the Cats will be without Mitch Kneriem but everyone else should be ready for Saturday. Mitch has been gone since week 10. His replacement has done an outstanding job. Tyler Zimmerly was out this past week but should be fine for this week. Jon Zimmerly played the entire game and had an outstanding game. I'm not sure where the sparsely came from. Dustin Grier was shaken up but is fine to play this week. We will be without Mitch but I assure you that you will see all of our 3 or 4 best players. I would strongly urge our new friend oldcatqb to educate himself and stop acting like he knows what he's talking about

I added Jon to the sparsely bc he missed time b4, after he caught a helmet to the knee. Ck my other posts @ the team & if u still have a woody over trivial miscues......use that energy to pump up the team this week. Not just to criticize. That helps no 1. Go Cats.

Dustin is cleared to play. I spoke with his mother yesterday. Norwayne is actually part of a program that does extensive testing for concussions so I am confident that if he's cleared he is fine. To a couple of "old" guys on here (cat and smithie), I'm not sure the trickery will make any difference. Johnstown is going to bring what they bring regardless of who they think is on the field.

What an atmosphere this has become. We as parents are just enjoying this ride with our kids. I would like to thank all of our fellow Wayne County fans for backing us. We could not be anymore proud of this team. Good luck to the Cats this weekend.
