QB's, will they go will the Sr. to be or turn it over to one of the Soph. to be who have shown alot of talent ?
RB's, they will be young, but some of them did see alot of time this year & will step up & get the job done.
O-line, losing some talent, but will have players returning that saw alot of playing time during the season.
WR's & TE's, returning some key playmakers & some younger players who will do just fine.
D-Line, losing a player like "Houst" is hard to replace, but they do return players who saw alot of time this year.
LB's, replacing LeShawn Luke is not an easy thing to do. But this will be the strong point of the Defense with a good core of LB's returning.
DB's, replacing JoJo & Murray will not be easy, but they do have returners at the CB's & players who saw time ready to step up.
Kicker/Punter, he will be returning & did a good job this year. How many teams have one the size of an OT/DT,lol.

Diver fans= contradiction. They "hang their hat" on last years win against Big Red but accuse others of living in the past. So last year is apparently the present but the series between the two teams mean nothing and State Titles or regional championships are meaningless because they happened in the past. But remember last year is not the past.
Pittsburgh's 6 super bowls mean zilch, the Yankees are not a great organization because their 26 titles mean nada, we can't look back with Reverence on what your or my grandfather did in WW2, and Washington and Lincoln are not great presidents bc all those things happened in the past, not the present time of last year.
Good thinking. Diver fans.
Bottom line.
SHS 3 state titles, 7+ regional titles ( idk exactly how many)
Diver 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000
*Big Red leads the all time series w/ Diver. Who has the better program and history? Who is better? Its indisputable. BIG RED!!!!!!

kid got excited because we recovered a fumble .. they in turn took the possesion away from Big Red just like they did on the onside kick .. It was a garbage call that helped cost us the game by a 90 year old idiot rightious stupid overzealous ref . maybe be crooked i dont know .. i think incompetant atleast

It wasn't a fumble the whistle blew. Mooney recovered the onside kick. Did the 90yr old ref also cause the missed tackles on the long Mooney runs? Did the 90yr old ref also cause Prather to throw the ill advised pass right to a Mooney player? Did the 90yr old ref also cause Big Reds offensive line not to block all evening on running plays and constantly get pushed back into the backfield? You must be a Steeler fan also. When they lose, they always cry and whine about the officiating too.

Just curious how far Big Red is going to start reaching now that they can't get out of the first 2 rounds of the playoffs.

Is this the Steubenville thread...where we come to talk about Mooney/Dover? Too bad Steubenville got beat by Mooney....they would have just lost to Dover this week anyhow.
Should be a good game this week with Dover passing attack and Mooney well rounded team.
Figured I would try to talk week 13 here since stubbers keep hijacking the REAL game thread.....TROLLS!!!!

I think 2012 will be our year, too. Remember, everybody thought 2011 would be a rebuilding year. We were only supposed to go 7-3 and maybe not make the playoffs. All things considered, we had a great season.

Yeah guys i am still confused that what game are you talking about and there is no specify thread which explain it further.Thanks....
As far as the schedule is concerned, I only know two things for certain. We play an away game at Morgantown and a home game against Boardman. Even the Massillon game is up in the air. Massillon has most of their schedule complete (without Big Red on it), and they only have weeks 5 and 8 open.
I think Big Red's schedule will look something like this: away games against Morgantown, East Liverpool, and Massillon. Home games against Ursuline, Boardman, Buffalo St. Joe's, Brooke, O'Hara, Buchtel, and a Rally in Death Valley game against a WPIAL AAAA team.
I'm sure most of these contracts have yet to be signed, so there will likely be changes made. Nevertheless, I think the final schedule will look a lot like this.
