Someone just brought this up on Yappi...has Mooney ever scored 70 in a game? Looking at mooneyfootball.com...I don't see it ever happened.

I'm sitting here staring at the 30 yard line thinking about the pick 6,pass interference and blown coverage.

Garbage time TD for Dover...their defense is bad, but those turnovers just absolutely buried them. They are saying that Mooney will more than likely play Chagrin Falls(I think).

Yeah Dover was in position to go punch for punch, then the pick 6 happened. Twice they were in position to get a stop on D down 5 but a bonehead pass interference and a missed tackle underneath put mooney in position to go up 12 early in the 4th. Then it got ugly. 28 points in 6 minutes ugly.

yeah, the announcers said the PI was terrible because Mooney wasn't going to make the play. Yeah it was definitely the right call but it was a case where if the ball is on target its a broken up pass, instead it soared over the heads and looked real bad. Bottom line you can't give that team extra possessions.

Congratulations Mooney, great team. You have exceptional players, both on offense and defense. Show Ohio what Region 11 is all about in the state tournament. I will be rooting for you, Good Luck.

Wow. I didnt think it would be that ugly. Congrats to Mooney. Dover better go back to the drawing board.

Maybe start a thread to discuss the lack of tradition at Dover, but not sure why you would crack back on a class post on what must be a terrible night for Dover fans.

The defense is embarrassing. Most those kids didn't want to stick their nose in there and make the hit and wrap up. Missed tackles all night turning 2 or 3 yard gains into 10 to 20 yard gains. #3 is a great back and that line is massive, but Dover has to figure something out on defense. Its the same thing every time they face a team with a good line and quality backs.
