You're kidding right? "Backed out of a scrimmage?" With Pick Central? Ah, we were a little busy scrimmaging the defending State Champions.

yep started long before you were a twinkle in your mothers eye and a smile on your daddies face. The internet hate began with Coshocton and Cambridge we have been beating them silly for 50 years. ALF was a nice guy but hated Dover. The deep down ugly ugly hate. Also Late 60's we knew Massillion were AH's then.bases_loaded;975581 wrote:I missed that, wow, what an honor...I've made the handful of fans that actually visit these sites hate Dover...me? Dover administration wouldn't play the mighty tiger because it was homer city. Hell how do you think they got those paper championships. If you think the officials are bad know you should have seen it back then. Same with stupid ville. They were pure dirt balls.

Yeah....That's why.... 34 to 0 with our starters sitting midway through the third....That's "Homer City".
Now, back to the topic at hand, Mooneys week 14 opponent.

You know what Mike Tyson says about gameplans? Everyone has one till they get punched in the face.GRAYWOLF;974853 wrote:Totally possible qb will need sometime . Line play is critical no matter how jumbo the d is. #59 is awesome, will see. Concerning Qb on the ground we have a few surprises for you there. We use three O line packages they will be fresh all four quarters. Dover program keeps them in good condition and they know how to block. lol sometimes. Your big guys will need track shoes at this track meet. Also If you think you will have time to sub #51 and #55 or #37 think again Dover runs plays very quickly. sometimes. The spread sometimes runs into trouble in side the 10, we have some surprises there too. Sometimes they play like world beaters and sometimes they don't. hey there kids, also you probably will not see any of them play on Sunday and a only a few on Saturday next year. They know this might be the last time they play the game. If they play like its the last play they want to remember. I like are chances. Play 48 minutes with no regrets. Our Receivers we have a full stable. There routes are organized chaos. Guys running in all directions. You will probably run a cover 5. sometimes.

That's not what you said, though. And neither ASVSM nor Chagrin Falls next week will be a cake walk. It's going to be a pretty rough game next week for whoever advances from this one.tornumber30;975771 wrote:give it up already geeez ! assuming whoever wins this game , wins the state semi's , if you guys win this game you do plan on winning the semi-final game , or don't you ?

Loaded said to have a little fun, so I will take his advice, he can be anointed the King of Week 12 (there are some teams that have even made it to week 14 and 15 -insert grapes for exercise, hope you don't need them next week, but they will make more). For right now, Mooney and Dover are co-kings of week 12, but who will be King of week 13?
I hate to interject anything about the actual game, but does everyone see this as a high scoring affair? I don't think based on the highlights I have seen and in person last year that there is any question Dover had an advantage at QB as far as throwing goes. Mooney maybe a RB advantage. What kind of senior numbers does each team have?
Do many Dover players play both ways? I think only a few Mooney players go both ways. And where are the Mooney people on here? If it wasn't for Skank and a few interested spectators from the basement (or below), this thread would not have much steam. Didn't realize calling anyone a huddler was an insult, what are we on here, chatterers?

He has to stop throwing into double coverage, the window to throw through gets real tight this week. Dover should've put the game away early in the 4th last week, instead a pass on 1st down was thrown into double coverage and picked off. Not going to fly this week. We need the Swindy from last year week 11 this week.dover2092;975866 wrote:Dover QB Derik Swinderman:

Agree 100%. A pass thrown out of bounds or a sack is obviously better than a pick 6. Dover can recover from those in the regular season but this game will be played on an entirely different level.bases_loaded;975872 wrote:He has to stop throwing into double coverage, the window to throw through gets real tight this week. I don't think we have seen Swinderman best game yet. The defenses are baiting him this year but he keeps getting better and better at it. Most team are only rushing 3 people now. That puts 8 people in pass coverage. He needs to run the ball but he is going to get hit.
Don't forget we have a mamao on deck. We can't have any dropped passes.
