Dover

The town: It is a hick town where everyone uses snuff and drinks cheap beer. Most probably won't attend the game because they will be too consumed with the upcoming deer season. The majority of residents live in a trailer park and some have a claim to fame by appearing on the Jerry Springer show. The best of the best have a successful career at Wendy's.

The team
: Coach Ifft and the Tornadoes have made it to no less than 4 Region 11 championships games in 5 years, but that is mute and laughable because they have won none. Mooney is in for an aerial assault the likes of which the players and coaches have never seen, nor could they possibly prepare against. Mooney played (and beat) top ranked D1 schools in and out of state, but that is irrelavent, because they are playing the Mighty Tornadoes.

Youngstown Cardinal Mooney

The town: If you live in or near Youngstown you are either dirt poor or you are in the mafia. Car bombs are the norm throughout the city. Beruit is a better place to raise a family.

The team: It is comprised of super athletes that in no way should be playing in a D3 football contest, but they have somehow tricked OHSAA into letting them do so. These boys have come from all over the country and they mearly call Mooney home just for the sake of ripping through the Ohio football playoffs. They can't spell or write, but that doesn't really matter because they are athletic studs and will all be NFL players by this time next year.

Steubenville - LOST

At least pick your players up off of the field next time you come to PBTS.

Pretty sure that kid got up, went on to play 4 years at a DI college and is now a graduate assistant at another DI school. I think he did ok. Now please adhere to the topic.

First summary-not too far from the truth

Bases Loaded version should have read:

By Steubenville losing, no matter how it happened, extreme enthusiasm came all over Bases Loaded's entire body, the likes of which no other huddler will ever know. Rejoicing began the very minute the field goal went through the uprights, and will never end. It will be nice if Dover rolls through the rest of the playoffs and polishes off a great season with our first state championship, but alas that will pale in comparison to seeing Big Red lose (not necessarily because we were afraid of them or could not have beaten them-it would have been a good, tight game).

-------------

I think we are safe to say, and trust me, I have no favorite in the Mooney-Dover game, that no other huddler will ever rejoice in another teams season end than BL has at the end of the Big Red season.
There are at least 50 posts here and elsewhere supporting that. He probably has his reasons (like overzealous Big Red posters), but I can tell you that the vast majority of huddlers will never, and I mean never, celebrate someone else's season end the way BL has. Him and Rubberchicken (or maybe he is?) cast a dark shadow over the Dover program, making it hard for other poster to appreciate the team, which I am sure are good kids that would have a whole lot more people pulling for them. But they don't need it, they have BL.

Im not sure what I'm doing...but apparently its working.

Stop calling us huddlers, your people ruined that site for everyone.

If I have 50 posts on Big Reds loss then that means there are at least 100 other posts with BR crying about officials or trolling on Dover threads.

This thread is for teams that know how to get to week 13...back to your hole(the other site) dthane, week 13 is for the big boys.

This is like the third time I've seen a Doverite mention getting to "week #13". Classic, just....Classic.

your statement "cast a dark shadow over the Dover program, making it hard for other poster to appreciate the team, which I am sure are good kids that would have a whole lot more people pulling for them" is wrong they hated Dover long before you guys were born. You just didn't know it till the internet came along. But I'm having fun watching this little rant. So continue.

Announcer: "Coach, your program is on the upswing, you've played some pretty good teams the last couple of years, so, any chance you fulfill that second year with Massillon anytime in the near future?"

Wow lot of people to thank here, I wasn't prepared!...ok, umm,....I want to thank God, baby Jesus, my parents, Graywolf, Coach Ifft, Larry Humbert <music playing> ahhh my fiancée, and all the bitter Big Red and Massillon fan.

skank, you are really fascinated with Dover. I really don't know why.Dover is D3 Massillon is D1 why don't you go talk trash to Moeller,StX,or how about Pickerinton Central, the team your tigers backed out of a scrimmage with in August.

When are you gonna start a thread massillon,we're back 2012 version since the 2011 version did'nt work out so well.
