In the past, Fawcett has announced it over the PA if they KNEW they were getting a team making a return trip. (For example, last year when I went to Marlington/Dover, they told us over the PA that the winner would be back the next week... it ended up being Marlington/Buchtel).

According to my parents who were at Mooney/Steubenville, they said site TBA Sunday. Maybe they'll kick it out to PBTS just to change the site.

Where are state finals this year? Kent is in the middle. Fawcett makes sense though

Could be PBTS, Akron or Kent. But given the OHSAA choice for Dover this week, Connotton Valley wouldn't surprise me.

There might have been 200 standing but it wasn't terrible for a regional semi

Dover is screwed. It didn't matter who won between Mooney/Steub as far as they're concerned.

Thats why they play the game. I'm sure the Dover coaching staff isn't throwing in the towel.

Just callin' it like I see it. I thought Steub was going all the way this year. So if anyone knocked them off, which Mooney did, then I would expect them to go all the way.

Dover chokes again in the reg final. Well it wouldn't be a choke but after so many appearances you'd think trudge have to win one. Blind squirrel, ya know?

Dover has enough regional runner up plaques to build a small house with,but nothing they have done since 2006 is anything to be ashamed of or embarrassed about. The Dover boys have never given up or backed down from anyone and they will not start next week,4 straight region title appearances and 5 of the last 6 is something very few have matched.

Sal the barber has Mooney winning? Call Coach Ifft, call the Tornado Boosters, cancel all ticket sales, call the bands, the game is already over;

What's it called not getting past week 12 again? There's a thread for you to discuss it. You're welcome

In other words you aren't very good at seeing things. Dover will score hopefully 21 n 37 are able to go on the D

The worst thing that could have happened for Dover is Mooney facing Northwest in Week 11.....Mooney hadn't really faced a spread team all year but now they had a game (which to be honest they didn't play very well in) against a spread team and know what they need to work on defensively.

If Mooney is comparing Northwest's "spread" offense to Dover's Aerial Attack, they are in for a wicked surprise.
