Break down the guards in the IVC, rate the 1-2-3 guard
Who will run Hiland offense, Garaways, Malvern, Strasburg?

leroy...if tmajic and I had to choose between paying for food or Mich Ultras when dining with Mrs Majic and Mrs. Hoops, we would save money getting the dinner bill :)

82...don't encourage the Chicken, his head will grow larger and he will be confused for a turkey and end up on someones Thanksgiving Day table!

Rumor around the Sugarcreek area is that Honigford added about 20 lbs of muscle and is looking like a beast. Garaway people think they will give Hiland a run for their money this year. I am curious to see if Garaway has the guard play to get him the ball though.

Talked to one of his coaches yesterday at church. He said it was about 15 lbs but that he was looking good, stronger but there was plenty of other things he was concerned about. Of course coaches are always pessimistic. Shaw has a good year of experience under his belt. A lot will hinge how he plays at guard.

Hiland has an upcoming scrimmage this saturday with a few lightweights: massilon jackson, St Ignatius, etc. don't see any potential problems--wish we could get a little better competiton to get us ready for the season! (just hoping we come back from that with all of our limbs still in place...geesh!)

Don't forget the alumni game...Jason Mishler might remove a couple limbs on his own on Friday evening!

Wish Garaway would play their alumni again. It is like playing their little brother, the alumni team beat them to bad the first time and there hasn't been a game since. It was alot of fun while it lasted.

not sure bfan.....missed that alumni game, just saw the one where the one jackass thought he was a tuff guy and wanted to throw elbows and fight???????? I believe that is why that alumni game is no longer played, maybe Leroy can give more insight on that.......

I was there last night leroy, seems they couldn't get any decent "OLD" alumni, so they went with some of the younger alumni who played into their junior year of HS and then were asked to quit by the coach at the time.................?????????? and they still wouldn't pass me the ball ;)

Hiland boys and girls teams and coaches are highlighted in the Daily Record preview out today. Very in-depth articles on the S bros.

One error I noticed: they said Mark has only been able to reach Columbus twice with his Loudonville teams only. I could swear that I watched his 07 Hiland team in Columbus, but maybe the hard living of the past has made it impossible for me to distinguish between reality and fantasy.
