the problem is not just the athletics at cv, not even close.. but i know he lost the faith in helping or being a major contributor in the turnaround of the programs at cv.. he did everything he was asked to do as far as being a easy kid to coach, but not sure he was put in the best situations all the time. was he used in the most effective way, i dont feel he was but im not a coach nor is it my call, not questioning coaches decisions just giving my opinion, hes a major contributor in cv basketball but down 28-0 in the fourth quarter against tcc wth 4 min left in the game running a draw, 1 broken collarbone later along wth a plate and 8 screws took care of that. so yes i would say the best thing for him would be to go elsewhere both athletically an academically.. time will tell

hesston welcome! I tried to pm you and a number of other HHS posters, but had all kinds of problems, thanks to JJ's crew. Very few people still over there. as the post says--it's a ghost town. i don't think they ever dreamed they would essentially lose their entire site in less than a week. they have no $ income (nobody ponied up the $12), now no posters, and soon no ad dollars, It's only a matter of time until the site essentially shuts down. we'll pick up here where we left off.
B-ball season starts in 2 1/2 weeks! stay tuned for pickem and pass the word to any that haven't jumped here yet.

Ricola....we just want same deal we had last year...for each week we win a football playoff game we expect our December basketball opponents to spot us 8 points. Right now, Hiland and Sandy owe us 16 points each :)

If I remember right, Malvern played pretty darn good coming off their extended football season. Maybe you guys can take it further this year and really test Coach T's ability to get a team ready!

I don't think the Cardinals can afford to spot anyone points, they have got to find someone to put the ball in the hole.

Close the Topic already, no one stays within 10 points of Hiland all year long in conference play. And that might be to low of a number...

SV definitely lost a stud in Tuzzi, but by the end of the year the JV was playing very well, as were the varsity players outside of Tuzzi. Coah O does a great job and expect them to be competetive.
I would love to believe doc is right, but there's too many good programs and coaches in the conference; Hiland will have its share of close games. Remember Hiland lost 3 starters and a lot of points and rebounds from last year. They have some talent coming back, but some relatively inexperinced guys are going to need to step up and be their consistent 3rd and 4th scorers.
also big congrats to soccer coach Bodiker as DIII coach of the year! very deserved. (he also coaches 8th grade b-ball)

Garaway, Strasburg, Malvern, Hiland, TCC and maybe others will be great games, I doubt anyone goes undefeated in league play this year, too many great teams.

or maybe she's already here... I picked muva 5 years ago thinking I'd go for something gender neutral and that wouldn't give me away... But since everyone knows who I am pretty much... this is the sn I use for most things

it sure is good to see all of the old ivc original huddlers over here on the new site. it wouldn't be the same without all the old timers. Some of us have been going back and forth since the early days.

I've been accused of being that guy on another thread. That's insulting. I'm way better looking and thinner than that guy!

One of the Hiland players collapsed at practice last night. Seems there is a pocket of fluid putting pressure on the brain and causing severe headache. Let's pray that kid is going to be fine - and I don't mean for basketball.
