As was mentioned, he's back participating, so that is a good sign. They are going to continue to look into it over the next few weeks, but I think the fact that he's not being held out of practice has eased a lot of worry for now. As for the player, I think the people knowing more than I about the situation would have posted it previously if they felt it was ok to do so, so lets leave it at a thanks for the prayers and well wishes for now.

jlghoops, I think it was you who asking about getting spotted 8 points in those early games with Hiland and SV. Got an email from highschoolsports that says that the Hiland @ Malvern game scheduled for Dec 8 has been moved to Jan 12. Looks like no 8 points this year. Now you guys can just focus on advancing in the football playoffs.

Hello thanks to ricola for letting me know about this site. My predictions are not as important as the fact that Paul H from Garaway has a lot of work to do this year to live up to his rep. Good guards or not he has to really turn it up a notch. That being said I think he does it and the league is full of ties.
1-Hiland
1-Garaway
2- Malvern
2-Starsburg
And the two D4 teams and two D3 teams meet in the tourney in the district championship.

hope your right , bfan. (tho not sure i want to share the title with Garaway!). but i think only Garaway of the four above are Div 3

Yes! It really looks like another interesting year in the IVC! Do you really think that the top 4 or 5 spots will be even more competitive than last year? Well, that's what I hope so...StephenA wrote: Looks like another interesting year in the IVC. I think the top 4 or 5 spots will be even more competitive than last year.

Actually three of Top four teams are in same D4 sectional, I think they would all be willing to play in the D3 sectional at Claymont. If you get in bracket opposite Garaway it could be an easy ride to the District Final.Bfan wrote:

NP sectional will be quite the show this year. I would expect standing room only for a couple of the games.jlghoops wrote:Actually three of Top four teams are in same D4 sectional, I think they would all be willing to play in the D3 sectional at Claymont. Ya, I forgot that malvern was D4. Keep going back to my playing days when they were D3.

yea I think someone said back on that other site that being the #1 seed in the NP sectional will be key, as more than likely 2 and 3 will go opposite and end up meeting each other in the sectional final... Imagine seeing another Strasburg/Hiland match up or Strasburg/Malvern in that gym... here's hoping its not 95 deg. in there this year. I love 70's in early March, but that was intense.

It was a misguided attempt to keep the riff-raff out.

now that we got the a group of "the good ole boys" here (no offense tflo), let's talk some hoops. I'm sure most have had at least one or two scrimmages by now; how have they looked? How many of Malvern's team plays football? did I hear that a game (or more) of theirs has been postponed? if so, which ones?

My thoughts exactly. I think as long as this site stays under the radar, then there is a good chance Benwin23 could be back around.tigerfan82 wrote:

I think the IVC comes down to guard play this year. The top four or five teams all have solid inside and mid-range games, but the winner will be the team with the best guards getting the ball up the floor and orchestrating the show.
