I hope green is back next week, he is having a great year. And the TD catch he made today, absolutely incredible.

That one hurt today. Wanted the Bengals to get a W, but they got out-schemed at the start of the game and fell behind when they couldn't turn the field position.

The loss of AJ Green also completely changed the game. Without him to stretch the field the Pittsburgh defensive backs played within 5-7 yards of the line. Jerome Simpson was a no show down field, so the Bengals had to nickel and dime down the field. Not happy with the pass by Dalton that Gay intercepted. Think with 3 minutes left they could have continued to try to run the ball with Benson (who finally showed some power just a play before the pick.)

Bengals lack of depth will be seriously tested now with Leon Hall likely out for season with an achilles injury. Pacman has been plagued by injuries, so he really can't be expected to stand in for Hall. The weakest spot on the team now gets weaker, with games at Baltimore, a resurgent Arizona, Houston, and the Steelers remain.

If Mike Brown is serious about change, this would be a good time to back it up. In prior years he would sit on this and claim the existing roster can step up. I really don't think it can, and they need to find someone to help the secondary.

How was that questionable he grabbed a DB you cant do that. Ben himself cost that late hit by getting out of so many tackles. LOL At steelers fan thinking it was even

Both the LB and Miller had hold of each other.

The roughing the passer I was referring to was the one where Ben threw deep and the defensive back leveled him 3 seconds after the ball was out...he didn't scramble on that play.

The officiating helped the Bengals stay in it and then when it was close they called a bad holding call and the Steelers benefited from that.

Take the officiating out of it and the Steelers were clearly the better team.

I was watching the game and was mad at the officiating for most of it haha

Then after the holding call on Whitworth...I said that evens it up even though I felt there was already quite a bit that went against Pittsburgh.

Bengals are a good team. Not trying to take anything away. It was a hardfought game. We were fortunate to win that one.

I didn't think the refs were perfect and they didn't affect the outcome.

If Cincy fans want to whine about factors of the loss.....whine about AJ Green going down and Dalton's 2 picks.

Ill Whine about the shit that shouldnt happen. Picks and Injuries are part of the game and should be. Fucking refs impacting the game shouldnt be. That is all. That second pick to gay was inexcusable but probably never needed to happen if the bullshit holding call doesnt happen on the earlier drive.

Except if they would have called Worlids constantly getting held on the outside on Benson's runs.

lol. Has there ever been a game when the officiating was actually in the Steelers favor or are they always winning in spite of the refs?

The right team won! Good game. Could have been better, as they just didn't seem willing to put the game away in the second half. Had me worried about another Baltimore game with how many opportunities Cincy had to tie the game in the fourth quarter. Fortunately, the defense stepped up.

And fortunately, Baltimore continued to be Baltimore. Play great in big match-ups and play to the level of your weaker opposition. Could have lost to Arizona doing that. Have lost to Jacksonville and Seattle. Keep that up and the Steelers will win the division despite going 0-2 against them.

Happy with the win, but still disappointed that our offense goes into a prevent losing mode. I woud prefer to see them keep their foot on the throttle and keep putting points on the board. I do think the gameplan yesterday set up the gameplan for the next meeting very well. On defense we didn't seem to pressure Dalton too much, played more coverage, which is completely the opposite of a LeBeau defense. On O we never really looked for the deep ball. (especially once the DB was injured), the game of cat and mouse in the first of two meetings was interesting to watch.
