Yeah, prices are high there. I will be getting my large coffee at Mickey Dee's and enjoy the game.

First post for me on this site.

It's nice to see both of these teams playing on week #12 this year. My cousin has 2 of his boys playing for Norwayne and my wife has a cousin who is a Bobcat cheerleader. Happy for their success this year. But that being said, I am Orrville born and bred, so Go Riders!

I look for this game to be close thru halftime, but then I think Orrville will be come out on top in the end. To much team speed and I think Orrville's defense will be lights out. I also think the Orrville coaching staff will not get out coached IMO. Good luck to both teams, Go Riders!

Well, here is my breakdown of the Orrville vs Norwayne game! I used the same format as the "BUCK-EYES" preview in the Daily Record each Friday. I hope you enjoy it! I am sorry for any spelling mistakes or statistical errors. I threw this together and did not have much time to correct it. (Plus it was all done in Paint, so it wasn't very easy to change any typos...) Now that I'm done, I can go home, change, and head out to watch Steubenville vs Mooney. It's going to be a great weekend! See everyone tomorrow!

I give credit to Aaron Dorksen, The Daily Record, Tim Snyder, and others who provided me with graphics and some information to use in this preview. Thanks to EVERYONE for your help! This was a collective effort.

Great work Pit. Every once in a while you see someone doing something that is truly extraordinary. You have joined RR1 there.

I notice Orrville has the advantage in 5 categories, Norwayne only 2--1 is a draw. I think the fact we have 2 QB's depending on the situation is an advantage and that Brenner and Wallace are pretty evenly matched, except Brenner can catch as well. Maybe not enough to give Orrville the advantage, but I'm not sure Norwayne has a clear edge. (Yes, he has the stats, but would Brenner have similar numbers if he played all season?)

Norwayne is an exciting and exceptional football team=true
Wallace/Monheim is an epic matchup=true
They can win if Orrville gives them a chance=true
Orrville has no excuses if they lose=true
Norwayne is evenly matched with Orrville=not really

Are we ready to say these two teams are not in fact evenly matched as the paper so politely and politically correctly said this morning?

That was a good post, imo, for a n00b.

You creeper. You knew who/where I was, and you didn't stop by to say Hi? You've gotta speak up next time. What a game, though!! Yes, those two guys in front of me were characters, for sure. The older couple behind me was pretty funny to listen to, as well, with their in-game and between-play commentary and guesses/criticisms on play calling, what a penalty was, etcetera. Haha!

And thank you to everyone for the kind comments on my preview. It was a lot of work, but it was so much fun, I didn't mind!

I was going to say something afterwards to you, but you left a little sooner than I thought. Yeah that guy complained about every single call, and I don't care what Reno called, it was always the wrong call ....I'd hate to be his wife that has to ride back to Steuby with him. lol

LOL, their fans are amusing. I went to the Big Red @ Poland game a few years back, and I had a fan trying to tell me that intentional grounding was a penalty only enforced at the NFL level. For being so invested in football, they know nothing

Haha. His wife would turn to him about once a quarter and ask for an explanation, and he'd yell some response back. Wife: "What does 4-down territory mean?" Angry man's answer: "BECAUSE THEY'D GO FOR IT ON FOURTH DOWN, YA KNOW. OK. NORMALLY YOU ONLY GET 3 DOWNS, AND YOU PUNT IF YOU DON'T GET IT" or something like that. Haha! In all honesty, though, he wasn't too bad to me... just very verbal towards the team. After I corrected him on a few rule misunderstandings he had, and gave him a few scores and insightful (proven true) play call suggestions/predictions, he seemed to talk to me more and respect my opinion. I would have thought he'd be a "Yeah, whatever" type of guy, but he was pretty cool when he wasn't hollering. Haha.

The older couple behind would yell out as soon as someone was tackled, "Oh, 7 yards!" The spouse: "Oh, I think it's 6 yards." Me being the statistician I am, and used to spotting yard lines, I would know that they were NEVER ONCE correct on the yardage, not even on their 2nd guess, which always came after the first guess. Haha!

I left as soon as the last play was over. I parallel parked on a street across the road from the elementary (free), so I had a long walk and wanted to get there soon - but I made sure to stay for the last play. When/how did you know it was me?

I know what you mean, but I love how passionate they are about their school and community.

Well, I turned around at the start of the game and you looked very familiar, and I saw the purple hat and knew it had to be Pit! haha
