I agree with rrfan. With as realistic as the artificial/turf fields are today, it doesn't give much of an advantage preparing on them a day or two in advance. Norwayne played on turf last week and did mighty fine, so I wouldn't want to break any habits. Does anybody know if they practiced on turf before last week's game against Brookfield?rrfan;964316 wrote:I don't think it makes that much of a difference where they practice. These fields are so good now (not like the old turf) that I really don't think it is an advantage one way or the other. In some ways I don't like it because it makes you have a road trip for practice everyday. These kids are all creatures of habit and it is being broken. Orrville has been on turf enough IMO so I like that they are going business as usual.

Here's a handy visual aid on parking....(Link to a bigger version is here.)

If I'm an Orrville fan, I avoid taking Rt. 57 into Medina....Norwanye fans are going to be coming up Route 3, and 57 and 3 intersect in the center of Medina...traffic will be a nightmare in downtown.
I'd take 57 to River Styx Rd and then turn left onto Rt. 18 and come in from that direction...avoid the center of Medina...unless you're planning on getting there early, then it probably wont matter.

Both teams will be flying around the field Saturday night and both teams will be tested to the limit.

When coming in on 18 turn right on Woodland ( by the hospital ) which takes you up to Weymouth ( 3 north ) , turn left and go into the 1st school parking lot. I think they charged $2.00 to park last year.RedRider1;964584 wrote:Here's a handy visual aid on parking....(Link to a bigger version is here.)

For some reason, I don't remember paying to park for the Week 12 game vs. EC last year. Medina would be wise to charge for parking...$$$$$riders1;965051 wrote:When coming in on 18 turn right on Woodland ( by the hospital ) which takes you up to Weymouth ( 3 north ) , turn left and go into the 1st school parking lot.
