I'm a half mile out and I hear the crowd screaming 'F--- Sandusky!'
Were they chanting both of those? Because they sound pretty similar. And there's a pretty big difference.KR1245;965763 wrote:CNN showing some video, large crowd of students gathering " FUCK THE TRUSTEES"
Not to mention the janitor who allegedly saw a crime firsthand in 2000, the grad assistant who saw a crime firsthand in 2002 (and still has a job??? That's the most confusing part to me), and the people who met with the grad assistant (Curley and Schultz) AFTER Paterno passed the information along. Even if you want to make the argument that Paterno was vague about what he passed on, the GA still met with and had the opportunity to tell the AD and man in charge of university police exactly what he saw. Either he didn't, or they dropped the ball.pmoney25;965868 wrote:Look, Paterno should have followed up to see why nothing had happened. But you guys are going crazy acting like Paterno is one that committed the worst crime here. In my opinion the AG, Police Dept and whoever else was investigating this in 98 are higher up on the accountability list than JoePa.
I don't think firing him was overboard. I think doing it over the phone is weak sauce. Tarnished reputation or not the guy did a ton of good for Penn State. But comments like
Are just complete idiocy.stlouiedipalma;965857 wrote:All of you who are defending Paterno would want 10 minutes alone with him if it had happened to one of your sons.
