No matter what anyone does, JoePa is not coming back. If they want to concede the Big10 title in protest, so be it.

Story from a current Penn State student whose brother was a victim. He was made fun of for getting "Sanduskied"

Anyone who made fun of my brother being raped would no longer be my friend and would be getting their ass kicked. WTF is wrong with people?

As has been reported on ESPN, despite what so many here have inaccurately claimed time and again, there is not one piece of damning evidence directly attributed to Joe Paterno in the grand jury report. The only two statements made by Paterno himself consisted of Paterno stating that McQueary had told him something about an upsetting incident in the locker room involving Sandusky and a child, and that he (Paterno) then immediately informed the appropriate administrators. We now regrettably know that those administrators never did a thing, and, as a result, set Joe Paterno up for his eventual fateful fall from grace.

As Paterno's side of the story unravels with time, it is my view that many, many folks will be overcome by their own foolishness as a result of their decision to make such hurried judgments and character assassinations as they cheered on gleefully at the figurative stoning of an American icon.

The only winner today is Alonzo Stagg, who will now retain, at least a share, of his all-time games coached mark. Congratulations, Amos.

60 year old man, naked, 10 year old boy, showers. There is no need for further detail. None.

What more do you need? Seriously, wtf can you supporters not understand?

And to make matters worse, he allowed this 60 year old man, who was positively identified, to bring other young boys to the facility and on bowl trips since 2002. WTF?

AND the individual who witnessed the act REMAINED on his staff since the incident.

2 detectives and an investigator heard the same story from Sandusky himself in 1998. Shouldn't there have been no need for Sandusky to be let to walk a free man then?

Penn State is a mess right now. A total mess. Both physically and emotionally. I've never seen anything like this happen in my lifetime.

Involving sexual activity.

Despite the monetary loss, I wouldn't be upset if the PSU team doesn't play in Columbus next weekend.

Do you guys think the PSU-Neb game will be cancelled? With the talk of seniors threatening to not play, coaching change, possible riots/violence, I would say if I was a Nebraska player/coach/fan I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that hornet's nest.

I was just thinking that. Who would make that call? The interim president? The Big 10? The Big 10 hasn't made a peep since this dropped.

Dunno. It could really go one of two ways. Nebraska rolls them because certain players don't play and they aren't in the right mindset to play with all of the distractions. Or, PSU uses it as a huge motivator and just kicks everyone's asses.

No, Sandusky should have been arrested.

What does that have to do with Paterno?

I say this tongue in cheek, but maybe Gameday will relocate just to get better coverage because that's all they're going to be talking about.

The part where he raped someone? Or saw it happening and did nothing? Or actively covered it up instead of following the procedures as instructed by law?

I didn't say anything about football. I didn't argue against him being fired (in fact it's the decision I supported being made numerous times).

I just don't get why, even if it was my child, I would want "10 minutes alone" with a him.

I'm going to kick his ass because someone else raped my kid, another person saw it happen but didn't intervene, waited a day, then told Paterno (to an unknown extent of detail), who followed the chain of command with information he had no way of personally verifying and reported it to his "boss", who then along with the man in charge of the campus cops met with the person who saw the act happen, and they did nothing about it?

He's about the 5th out of 5 people in that situation in terms of who I'd be pissed at. The only one I would want "time alone with" would be Sandusky, because nobody is responsible for what he allegedly did except for himself.

At this point, the season should be cancelled, imo. There's too much turmoil and anger regarding this situation and it has obviously made it's way down through the football team. This university is too divided right now and it's going to be a long while before they can resolve this.

It is awful that the players had to be punished for something they didn't do, but that's life. It's a *****. The person who makes a bad decision is never the only person harmed by it.
