I actually like to have the perspective of UM fans(those that can converse/debate without acting childish). I may not always agree w/ web, but I think he provides perspectives and can talk about a topic without causing a pissing contest between posters.WebFire;1013513 wrote:Well, I've said it before, but I guess I will again. Just because I like you so much.
I live in Ohio. Almost all my friend are Buckeye fans. I root for Michigan. Their number 1 rival is OSU. I enjoy this board. This board mostly talks about OSU (duh). So, I am surrounded by OSU everyday.
So yes, I do know a bit about the Buckeyes. Though I think you give me too much credit for following their recruiting. I really don't know shit about it unless it affects Michigan. Which really, all of it does indirectly.
You'll also notice I comment on nice pickups/commits. It's not like I sit here and bash OSU recruiting all day.
Now, can't we all just get along?

Webbie, please don't misinterpret the sarcasm in my post to insinuate anything other than me being amused at your constant presence on any Ohio State thread. If I thought you were merely trolling, I'd get in a pissing contest with you, but hey, I'm just here to get along.

I'll second that. There are several of posters here who are not OSU fans and are pretty good posters even when I don't agree with them. Webfire is definitely one of the better posters.se-alum;1013542 wrote:I actually like to have the perspective of UM fans(those that can converse/debate without acting childish). http://www.elevenwarriors.com/2011/12/catching-up-with-camren-williams-osu-visit#more
After an epic recruiting weekend that resulted in the Buckeyes landing Tommy Schutt and Se'Von Pittman last night and another big weekend coming up in which the staff plans to be hosting Noah Spence and Cyrus Jones, it was hard to imagine more good news coming so soon for Ohio State fans. Believe it or not, Buckeye Nation didn't have to wait long as another star prospect was on campus the past couple days soaking in Urbtopia.
That prospect is Camren Williams of West Roxbury (MA) Catholic Memorial. Williams, a 6-2/200 linebacker, is a four star recruit that is currently committed to Penn State. He is the son of former NFL defensive end Brent Williams and the brother of current UNC offensive lineman Brennan Williams. In fact, Brent got to know current OSU coach Mike Vrabel pretty well from going to Patriots team function while Vrabel played for the team.

But, I try to be reasonable and only get unreasonable when provoked. I think most OSU posters are the same, but there are a few instigators.

Dustin fox tweeted that he would be surprised if Dunn took his official to Michigan this weekend.... fox is of the course from the same high school as Dunn so he has some insider knowledge.

Dunn will not visit UM this weekend. Take that for what its worth, but its good news for OSU the longer he stays away from AA.

Most of the people I know from Ohio who root for The University of Ann Arbor did not get enough of this as a child, and consequently crave attention by rooting for teams like this to draw attention to themselves.WebFire;1013513 wrote:Well, I've said it before, but I guess I will again. Which is funny, because I couldn't be more opposite. I am actually a quiet and laid back guy. Looks like Pantoni & Voltolini are off to a flying start. Give these 2 guys some credit with Meyer.
Voltolini worked under Meyer for nine seasons, at Bowling Green, Utah and Florida. Pantoni worked at Florida for the past five seasons and helped organize Friday Night Lights, the program's popular summer recruiting showcase.
Recruiting expert Tom Lemming said Pantoni's loss would be a big impact for Will Muschamp's staff as Pantoni had led the Gators' recruiting efforts for the past two years.
"He's almost like one of those irreplaceable guys because he does such a good job organizing and putting them in the right direction," said Lemming. "Recruiting-wise, he's worth his weight in gold."
