It's a smart decision. The OL talent that is being brought in will make even an average RB look good. Weber is going to break records that EZE will probably set next year.Automatik;1702932 wrote:Weber stays.

Why is the SEspnC network not even mentioning how OSU punked Bama on Prince? They just keep waxing Saban's sac on how this might be the greatest recruiting class since Jesus signed up the 12 Disciples! The reign is over you Southern Rednecks get used to it.

Harbaugh is a garbage coach. He will be fired in 3 years from Michigan with an 0-3 record against OSU.Automatik;1702996 wrote:Harbaugh making his presence felt!

While I don't think overall class and star rankings are the end all, they are worth discussing.
I'm seeing a lot of Michigan supporters sounding off with lines like..... Gardner was a 5 star AA! AJ Hawk was a 3 star!! This don't mean shit! DERP

They are not the end all, but it's certainly embarrassing for Michigan to get zero "top 100" recruits.Automatik;1703004 wrote:While I don't think overall class and star rankings are the end all, they are worth discussing.

They are just downplaying a disappointing class. But to be honest, they don't sound any more dumb than people like you trying to make it out like Harbaugh failed. If he didn't have just 3 weeks to get an already failed class together, I'd be worried. But that's not the case.Automatik;1703004 wrote:While I don't think overall class and star rankings are the end all, they are worth discussing.

Rankings are fun to talk about, and there is some correlation between rankings and success, but most of these players are going to the best coaching staffs in the country, which ultimately decides how good they become. Saw something the other day that was interesting. Zeke, Lee, Powell, and Boren were all 3* when they committed to OSU. All played huge roles on this team. It all comes down to development, and I think Harbaugh will be fine on that front.Automatik;1703004 wrote:While I don't think overall class and star rankings are the end all, they are worth discussing.

and not that it matters but the starters in the SB this year had zero 5 star recruits out of HS, and I think nine 4 star guys.......Automatik;1703017 wrote:I'm just stirring the pot. Thanks for taking the bait!
but yeah...OSU is loaded. Doesnt guarentee a NC each year, just ask alabama, but I imagine most OSU fans would be OK with the same sort of success tht Bama has had lately.

I really hope Gibson realizes his future in football is almost guaranteed to be a WR. Hopefully he'll make the switch and get on the field this year! At 6'4" 205lbs, he could be an incredible weapon.

Hate this stat. Hate that people try to downplay the significance of star ratings. They matter.thavoice;1703024 wrote:and not that it matters but the starters in the SB this year had zero 5 star recruits out of HS, and I think nine 4 star guys.......

Alabama = 13 <- Rekt
Ohio State = 3 <- National Champs.
USC(lol) = 10 <- ?????
Michigan(lol) = 4 <- Irrelevant

You know how many 5 stars there are each year? You are playing the % game. I said stars, not 5 stars.sleeper;1703048 wrote:# of 5 stars on 2014-2015 roster:

Yeah they matter.
Only one national championship team in the last DECADE did not sign a top 10 class the same year. Most are top 5. Stars matter.
But so does development of talent. It takes both. Which is why in your example Michigan is still irrelevant.

The future is bright at Ohio State. At Michigan, the future is competing with Rutgers for table scraps in the East.SportsAndLady;1703053 wrote:It's national signing day...he's probably not in the best of moods

Michigan will always be irrelevant until they bring in a real coach. Sorry, but how long is it going to take for you to admit that Harbaugh isn't the answer? He's trash, admit it.WebFire;1703055 wrote:You know how many 5 stars there are each year? You are playing the % game. I said stars, not 5 stars.
