Hendrix is the better runner, Kiel would be the better passer I think. Kiel would be a threat to run to keep the defense honest and has experience in the style of offense already.

thanks, and looking at video clips of Golson, he's a freak--I wonder if he'd look at transferring if Kiel became a domer??

Will try to get to vandy this weekend for official. Will be at ND for his official next weekend. He's also been there three or so times since decommitting from Indiana.
Oh, you know him personally? Cool. I have my opinion. You can have yours. I'd say if Kiel has made 2 trips to LSU, that they are certainly in the mix.

Didn't say they aren't in the mix. When he visits Vandy this weekend will you say they lead? He very well could end up at LSU, but they don't lead.

Not saying it isn't true, but I Haven't seen anything about any contact between Mauk and any ND coaches. Where'd you see that?

Yes, and just to clarify, I was referring to medical hardship waivers that would remove those players from an athletic scholarship. Therefore, freeing up a spot.

Mauk should stick to Missouri, IMO.

Thanks!

2013 QBs

Darryl Richardson, QB, 6’5, 215 – His college ready frame has earned this dual-threat quarterback several offers already including South Florida, Tennessee and Ohio State. The Seffner (Fla.) Armwood star has a strong arm and is a natural leader. He will be a top QB for the next recruiting year.

- missed 2nd game tonight with bad ankle I think. Armwood had to come back late to beat Gainesville in the state regional finals. They are 14th in the nation in Rivals, this will cost them.

Cord Sandberg, QB, 6’2, 185 – Holding offers from Clemson, Auburn and Cincinnati, this 2013 quarterback is already one of the top prospects in Florida. What really stands out is his strong arm and mobility. He can make some nice passes as well. The Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee prospect is one to watch for next year.

Manatee is 27th in Rivals, they won 13-10 and play Dwyer next week in the semifinals. Sandberg was hot for Florida until Meyer left.

Urban's latest offer goes out to Jamal Marcus. Brand new name to me, and someone that Urban wants pretty bad.

Meyer has been in contact w/ DJ Humphries. #1 OT recruit, and #3 overall. Currently committed to Florida.

Urban Meyer hosted his first prospect on an official visit as head coach of the Buckeyes and it was a great one, 4-star wide receiver Joel Caleb (Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill). “We made it up there around 5:30 (pm) on Friday,” Caleb said. “Me and my mom went up. “It was great. It was wonderful. I had a great time – I really, really enjoyed it. They showed me the time of my life.” After arriving and checking in, Caleb and his mother went out to dinner on Friday night. “We went out to eat at Eddie George’s restaurant,” Caleb said. “I sat down with my recruiting coach, coach (Stan) Drayton, and coach (Greg) Gillum, and my host – Curtis Grant. We got to know each other and got a feel for what we were going to be doing over the weekend.” Saturday was a very busy day for Caleb and his mother. “We got started around 9:00 am,” Caleb said. “After breakfast we talked to an academic advisor. We got a tour of the campus and saw the stadium. We saw the Woody Hayes Facility and we toured the dorms. “They showed us a lot of the history of the (football) program and I got a feel for what Ohio State football is all about. All of it was so impressive.” Caleb also met with Meyer on Saturday. “He’s a real, real good guy,” Caleb said. “He’s very energetic. I would love to play for him. He’s a lot of fun. “He told me Ohio State is going to be real good for a long time. He said he came there to do some real big things and he wants me to be part of it.” After dinner on Saturday night Caleb said he was so tired he went back to his hotel and fell asleep for the evening. After a good night’s sleep Caleb and his mother had breakfast this morning and headed home. Caleb did not commit before leaving and still plans to visit Virginia Tech Dec. 9 and West Virginia sometime in January. He is also considering Florida, Florida State, Clemson and Georgia. When asked where the Buckeyes now stand, Caleb said, “There’s no specific order, but I would say they are sitting high on my list. It’s a wonderful city and a great community there.” Caleb is the country’s No. 58 overall prospect in the 247Sports rankings. He was a varsity starter at wide receiver his freshman season, then moved to quarterback several games into his sophomore season. Since that time he has started at both quarterback and free safety. Caleb played much of his senior season with torn meniscus in his right knee. He had surgery and missed the final three games of the season, but his rehabilitation has gone well and he is starting to walk again. Despite playing in just seven games Caleb passed for 747 yards and rushed for 737. For his career the 6-foot-3 and 203-pound Caleb passed for 2,845 yards with 36 touchdowns. He rushed for 2,889 yards and scored 35 times. Caleb had 391 receiving yards with three touchdowns. On the other side of the ball Caleb made 52 tackles and intercepted four passes. Kurelic’s Comment: Caleb would be a huge “get” for the Buckeyes and they have a very realistic shot and landing the star receiver. In fact, I think Caleb’s decision comes down to Ohio State or Virginia Tech.

THAT is officially a low down dirty back stabbing two faced scum bag thing to do.

I don't begrudge him for any of the other stuff like taking coaches, saying the program was broken to Muschamp, lying to Elam, Easley, Floyd, etc., but going after Muschamp's recruits while you send someone to clear out your UF office is costing him all respect and honor held by the fans. With time it could have been easier and he could have been remembered as the coach who won 2 BCS rings for Florida. Now he is remembered as a total jerk.
