What part of "verbal" is too confusing for you? Making a 4-5 yr commitment to play sports at a D1 university is difficult and often overwhelming for many kids and their families. When additional information is added the variables move and decisions possibly change. Absolutely nothing wrong with this...especially when the Buckeyes are doing the cherry-picking ;)

We seem to be in violent agreement here. A verbal commitment is completely meaningless.

I watched Bradley in the D-II title game against Avon, and while one game is certainly not a good judge of a players abilities, he laid some real licks on Avon.

Coach Meyer picks up an additional scholarship to deal with.

None that I am aware of. I believe they had four with Miller, Bauserman, Guiton and Graham. I am sure its a priority for Meyer. We have 3 more years with Miller. Guiton is a sufficient backup. But OSU will need a top notch QB within the next couple of classes.

PSU commit Carmen Williams is making a visit to OSU today, per Kurelick. He's a highly regarded linebacker out of Mass. whose father is friends with Vrabel from their playing days together in New England. There's also some scuttlebutt that he and Schutt are friends.

Not sure but I think Williams is Armani Reeves' teammate. He is also committed to Penn State. Both say they are still committed, but are doing their homework in the event they do decide to go elsewhere.
