Hearing that Tommy Schutt commitment to #OhioState is more of "when" and not "if" - he was previously committed to Penn State.

Dunn: "Ohio State will be coming next Tuesday to my house, and it's supposed to be Coach Meyer."

But while we are talking rumors, rumor was that Dunn told other osu committs he's working to get Kalis to switch. But hopefully not, I want Kalis at Michigan.

Other message boards are exploding about all the top players who look like a lock for the Bucks after their visit this weekend. Amazing.

Obviously everything is just rumor right now, but most all the recruiting guys are expecting Dodson and Pittman to be Buckeyes.

Dunn will not NOT be an early enrollee. He had 2 weeks to get his schoolwork done but not that won't happen. We may not see a decision for a while yet.

Zero chance Kalis switches. Dunn is still undecided with the consensus being Michigan has a very slight lead right now.

Nobody wants Kalis to switch.

Apparently, some sports station in Detroit (97.1?) is all lathered up saying that OSU is over signing and are still railing about how unfair the waiver is.

At least they have as much intelligence as the UM coach and AD do when it comes to these issues.

Nobody wants a guy who committed to OSU without ever actually wanting to go there. Meyer needs to be bringing in guys who are 100% committed to playing for Ohio State. Guy just isn't a Buckeye.

I won't blame anyone who didn't want to come here with mess that was going on. But if a 5* O lineman decides he wants to come back now that everyone knows what's going on, I think we should welcome him with open arms. If nothing else so UM doesn't get him.

I can't blame the guy for switching to UM. I believe he would have signed with OSU had all the crap not hit the fan. UM was stable, had their coach. No one knew what was going to happen at OSU.

I know he's a "kid", but my respect for Kalis went South when he reneged on his verbal to OSU based on nothing but speculation on how badly OSU was going to get hammered by the NCAA. And much of that, I'm sure, came from UM coaches.

It's my hope Meyer was able to convince Dodson and Diamond to come to OSU, so it isn't an issue. Let Kalis stay up North and hopefully suffer the same fate as Henne and Bike Hart.

What happened between the time that he re-assured Fickell of his commitment, and the time he decommited and decided on UM? I don't hold it against the kid for decommiting, but I surely don't want him back.

I may agree with you if others from other schools didn't feel the same way. I think most people are against it because they are getting sanctions. Otherwise I think it's a non-issue. I believe Illinois was just granted the same.

I agree, in principle, with this...if a kid is offered at OSU and verbals, and truly wants to play for Ohio State, but then for whatever reason rethinks his decision, going to tsun isn't an option...it just isn't.

If OSU had hired Beckman and not Meyer, nobody would be saying squat. That's a fact. Sanctions have nothing to do with it, or else the waiver wouldn't have been granted. Face it: this is good, old fashioned hate and envy coming out. Hate because everyone who dislikes OSU wanted them hammered into oblivion; envy because the last thing they wanted was a good coach like Meyer stepping in right behind Tressel.
