Frankly I don't think Harbaugh has a great chance of a NC because he's in a division with Dantonio and Urban. Much like LSU won't win a championship as long as Saban and Malzahn are in the SEC West.

Just because Sleeper won't admit it doesn't mean Harbaugh isn't a good coach. What he did to turn around Stanford (plus look how bad Stanford is looking now that Harbaugh's recruits are gone) was a much tougher gig than turning around Michigan.

Let's not downplay Harbaugh's time at Stanford. I forgot how many wins Stanford had the 5 years prior to Harbaugh, but it was something very low (around 12 wins). Harbaugh turned that program around very quickly. No doubt in my mind they would have kept churning out double digit win seasons if he stayed, and they most likely would have eventually made a playoff. This is at a school with much higher academic standards than most schools when it comes to athletics.

If he stays longer than 3 years, I think he has a great chance. All it takes is one playoff appearance to do some damage.

Like I said, I don't see it. The Stanford teams created in his image beat Oregon because they were stylistically opposites, much like how those 2009-2012 Oregon teams also struggled vs OSU and Auburn.

I don't see Harbaugh beating both Dantonio and Urban at their own game in the same year, which I'm assuming is a requisite to make the playoff. Much like I don't see Miles beating Malzahn and Saban in the same year. And Miles is a great coach too.

Don't have any issues with your opposite viewpoint though.

No. Once the scholarship account is reverted back to normal, Urban won't lose within 2 TDs for the rest of his career.

He really didn't. Harbaugh sucked until he got lucky with Andrew. Even with him he only had one good season there. Not sure why everyone focuses on the one good year and not the 2 shitty years and 1 average year.

When you take over a 1-11 team, in a power conference, the turn around isnt overnight.
Again, he won at San Diego, he won at Stanford, and he won at SF. I know you are not this stupid and it is just an act, but come on man.
As far as he wasnt good until he got Luck, which is an amazing talent, well.........getting in great talent is a huge part of your job as a college coach.

I dont know much about the recruitment of Luck, and how good and sought after he was so I did a quick search. ESPN has him geting interest from Standfor, Northwestern, Rice, Purdue. Yahoo has viriginia and Oklahoma state as well.
Not really the who's who of college football.

In the rivals 100 that year he was 68th, below other QB's such as: Mike Glennon, EJ Manual, Dayne Crist, Blaine Gabbert, and your good buddy...>Terrell Pryor.

Rankings arent always the best way, but it is generally accepted amongst those who follow that stuff. It wasnt like Harbaugh came away with this amazingly high rated QB to lead his team.

He then took a team that couldn't get passed 5 wins in the NFL, and took them to the NFC Championship game in his first year with alex fucking smith as his QB. He was a muffed fumble away from winning that game too. Continue to try and downplay him as a coach though.

Also, let's not forget what he did at San Diego his first time being a HC. Just stop.

You're not understanding. He didn't win anything. He won NOTHING. Games? Yeah he won games, shit Luke Fickell won games too. Whoop-de-doo.

He'll be gone in 4 years with zero conference championships and zero wins over Ohio State. He's not a good coach. I'm glad he accepted the position though so that Michigan fans can have something to hope for while Urban shoves 50+ points per game down their throats every year.

Glover-Williams showed off the wheels today on scooping up a shorthop punt and took it to the house. Looking forward to seeing how Gibson does tomorrow at Army All-American game. Are there any people declaring tomorrow that have OSU as option? I was under the impression our class is just about complete, but wasn't sure.

Neville Gallimore, DT from Canada will choose. Analyst seem to think it's between Oklahoma and the Bucks. Ohio State has seven commits in the game.

Don't see him sticking at QB though. Will be at least 2 years before he sees the field if he does.

Thought Gillmore was an OSU lean, but doesn't have an OSU hat with them, they must've pulled his offer.

Edit- nevermind has one now.

But going to the Sooners
