Pat Shurmur's son is going to Vandy as a QB and he just got drilled on an odd run by him.

Early on DT Noah Jefferson (USC) looks like the best player.

Defensive dominance....Burrow looks the most polished of the 5 QB's I've seen.

I hope he goes there if that's what he wants. Ohio State will be fine.

Yeah, he probably is just wanting OSU fans to slobber over him more and beg him to still go to OSU.

With Meyer, OSU will never go withouth at least 2 very, very good playing ready QB's and at least another one waiting in the wings.

.
He has actually tweeted that he is still very committed to OSU and just wants to play out the recruiting stuff. I mean, free trips to some nice places, why not. Although it is noted, that he is a very impressionable young man. He had OSU near bottom of his list last summer and was high on Tenn...until he visited OSU then they were at the top. Hey, if he comes, great...kid is a great athlete.

Yea, I saw where he just wanted to enjoy this opportunity that will only happen once in his life. Let the kid enjoy it, an if he changes his mind, all the best to him.

I always get hammered for it on bucknuts but these kids should take their visits. Once and a lifetime trips for free. Enjoy the process.

I'd prefer they take them before committing to a school though.

Sounds like weber may flip back to UM. I'd have no problems with it. He obviously wanted to go there but it was a complete train wreck. Now he may think things are better.

We also should hear from burrow today. I'd like to keep him. But I've always imagined eventually he'd want a better chance at early playing time and look around. We will see.

Burrow isn't going anywhere. He fully expects to redshirt, sit back and learn and then compete for the job in a couple of years.

Gibson might be facing a change of heart before Signing Day.

https://auburn.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1726543

"Everything went well," Gibson, 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, said. "Everything is looking good. (The visit) changed things a lot. We'll see what the future holds."Gibson's player host was Auburn receiver Marcus Davis, but the quarterback also spent a lot of time speaking with Gus Malzahn and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Rhett Lashlee. The Auburn coaches reassured Gibson of where they see him playing in their high-powered offense.
"I sat in Coach Malzahn's office and he told me that I'm their guy," Gibson said. "He said he wants me to come in and I would get a fair opportunity to play quarterback, and I believe him."
Gibson also believes the Auburn coach could improve his game significantly.
"What he did with Cam Newton in one year and Nick Marshall in two, … imagine what he could do with me in three," Gibson said.

Visit to LSU next weekend and home visits with Malzahn and Lashlee and another with Meyer still to come.

He also paid Cam Newton and Nick Marshall so maybe Gibson wants a pay day rather than a quality education while competing for multiple championships. The road to the trophy goes through Columbus and it will as long as Urban is the coach. Either way, I support the kid going where ever he wants, but he chooses Auburn the best he will ever do is be 2nd place.
