Why?

Even with some success, it's easy to say (just from having watched him) that Fickell is not ready to be a full time head coach...yet.

If Urban Meyer wants this job, you do not hesitate to hire him. If Fickell wants to be head coach at OSU some day, he should go get head coaching experience elsewhere and be available for the next hire down the road. If he has shown that he can consistently be a winner, then you can hire him if you like.

At this point, regardless of what happens the rest of the reason, you (1) hire Meyer if he wants the job or do a search if he does not. One of the folks I'd be looking at if Meyer turns the job down is Mel Tucker, who is the DC of the Jaguars, I believe.

I will admit that I was wrong. I forgot that Ohio State plays in a conference that beats up on each other. This isn't the SEC where once you beat Alabama/LSU you can put your third string in and win the conference. Then, when you go outside the conference, you are well rested from playing LA Tech, Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and other cupcakes that exist within the conference.

I was wrong, but I'd still take Ohio State over any team in the SEC outside of LSU. Ohio State would beat Bama by 2 TD's because Bama has the most inept offense in history.

I wouldnt be surprised if he has only watched 2 OSU games all year and not a single other team. Sleeper has really fallen off recently, he used to at least throw some facts in with his trolling. Now he literally just makes things up.

Saturday's loss was one of the most painful in a long time...because the Bucks were absolutely horrible on both sides of the ball for 58 minutes in reg but still had a chance to win it just shows how bad Perdoo really is. Wake Up sleeper - the entire B1G is down this year and as much as I hate to say it the entire conference is going to get slapped around during the bowl season. If the Bucks are 6-6 they need to sit this year out cuz' another possible loss in Detroit, Shreveport or Memphis ain't worth goin for.
