This.

Time will tell with LSU and we will see how their talent develops in the NFL, but that Canes team was pretty special. I believe Dorsey was sacked only twice that year.

I know you don't really believe this.

lol, would you please stop giving CGW the ammo to bury us? As much as it pains me to admit it, we would get crushed this year by LSU, and Alabama, and OK St., etc. We just don't have the experienced talent, nor the coaching, to play at the elite level...yet.

That's a defeatist attitude. Ohio State can play with and beat any team in the country. The difference between this year and other years is consistency. We cannot consistently play at a high level because we don't have the experience both on the field and off.

I agree wth you, and that's why I added "yet". We'll be back to that level again real soon, but we're not there THIS YEAR...just sayin'

We beat Wisconsin and almost beat Nebraska and Michigan State. Those teams are BCS caliber teams this year, and we should have beaten all 3. We beat the other two and don't flubb up an extra point against Purdue, and we are a top 10 team staring down another BCS bowl. Ohio State is a good team, despite the 4 losses, and I have no doubt in my mind we'd stay within a TD of LSU, who is supposedly the best team in the country.

I think you've been able to see that I havent been ripping on OSU this season. I might of said some things after the first loss or 2. I know the program is going through some tough times so there's no sense of rubbing it in. LSU lost like 5 games just a few years ago so I know what its like, lol.

To be precise, LSU lost 4 games two years(2009) ago, and 5(2008) games the previous season. ;)
