Some call this game the game of the century. Easily the biggest regular season game since the 06 Mich/OSU game. If LSU plays LSU football, they will win by 14+. But, I have a feeling they are going to have their "one bad game a year" verses Bama. LSU only has 3 turnovers all year, but I believe they might match it in this game and lose by 9.
Its a close game each year. If my memory is correct, Bama won in OT 3 years ago after LSU blocked a winning field goal, but then Lee threw a int.
2 years ago, PP7 had a int which the refs said he was out of bounds. Bama ended up winning
Last year, LSU had an amazing 2nd half to beat Bama.
This year, both teams are pretty equal on both sides of the ball, and against the same opponents have about the same scores.

I think LSU beats Bama. Still think they get upset by somebody else, though.

If LSU plays LSU football, they win by 14+????????? LOL

LSU is very good but Alabama is going to need to play pretty poorly to lose by more than 14 at home.

Saw Bama is a 5.5 point favorite. That seems way too high.

Um, did you watch any games this year? How bad did they beat Oregon, WVU, Aub, Florida? They are killing everyone. LSU is way too deep in talent and big time players to not beat someone bad if they play their A game. But, as I said......I think they play bad and lose. Its bound to happen sometime. If not this game, possibly vs. Ark.

Defense will be insane in this game. That's why it'll be better than the osu um game of 06. I think LSU wins because they have excellent offensive playmakers and their defense is sooooo fundamentally sound with the best playmakers in the country on any unit. 30 - 17.

Good thing you put LSU by 13 and not 14 ;)
I to think LSU has the better playmakers and QB. I think the QB will be the difference in this game. If LSU can pressure the young Bama QB, they could have trouble. But, if Lee has an multiple INT game.....LSU is going to have problems. Almost hard to believe Lee has only 1 int.

I think LSU has better receivers/QB/ defensive line
Equal in secondary
Bama has slight advantage in backfield and possibly the O-line
Bama has home field advantage while LSU has more depth.

Its been a huge argument on the LSU site which has been the bigger game. OSU/ Mich or LSU/ Bama. I would have to say LSU/ Bama since they are both good on both sides of the ball and are whipping teams from other conferences. OSU/ Mich game was a great game, but they both showed they werent worthy of the #1 and #2 rankings. That game might of had more hype though.

OSU/Michigan was easily a bigger game. Best rivalry in all of sports, #1 vs #2, at night, in the most historic football stadium in the country, winner was guaranteed a birth in the title game, Heisman winner Troy Smith, Big 10 title on the line, etc.

LSU/Bama is still a big game, but let's not pretend its even close to OSU/Michigan.

LSU/ Bama, easily the best teams this year while OSU/ mich proved not to be in 06 (michigan hasnt been relevant since). LSU/Bama have been having close games as of late. Both are ranked 1 and 2 like the OSU game. Possibly could be a night game. Pretty much, this game will show who will be in title game (unless a SEC title game fallout, unlikely to happen). LSU's ex coach coaching against his old team in which he won a title at both schools. Both teams have won BCS titles in the last 4 years, etc...........................................................................................................

do you talk out of your ass? If LSU loses this game, would that mean they aren't worthy of the number 1 ranking?

I tend to agree with you, but everyone thought OSU and UM were untouchable that year. They were wrong, and until the year is over I think the jury is out on Bama and LSU this year. (A long way to go until the season is over.)

This is how I feel. But if the LSU game was for the sec title it'd be bigger. Hell if it was in November itd be as big.

If Bama plays Bama football then they shoudl blow LSU out as well right? Bama is just as deep and just as talented of a team. This will be a slugfest not a blowout by either team.

exactly. At that point in the season, OSU/MICH were the clear 1/2 teams in the country. Just because of what happened in the end of the season doesn't mean shit to that point. We know what happened with those teams, we don't know what happens with lsu/bama. At this point, it's clear that these are the best two temas in the country, but in the end of of the season we won't know until then. Just becuase you have hindsight as 20/20 for that osu/mich doesn't mean that at the time it was the biggest game of the century. Cats is just a fucking retarded jackass

Since we are allowed to use "ifs" in constructing an arguement, if LSU Bama lose out the rest of the season, this could be the most overhyped worthless game in college football history. If they played Indiana and Minnesota in a bowl game, they might lose by 50. By this logic, no one should even bother watching the game.
