Got mine done in my mid 40's after a friend called informing me his wife was pregnant (oops). The worst part was when the doctor taped my penis to my chest.

I had an appointment to get it done back in 2005. We had to go out of town suddenly and I never rescheduled the appointment. The Wife is now fixed as of 6 months ago. I'm still thinking about it done just for fun...actually just to be safe.

had mine in 1995.
Did it on a Friday morning spent the weekend watching football with a bag of frozen peas on the package.
Monday went back to my normal routine.
Only I guess you could say bad thing was the doctor had a sick sense of humor.
with knife in hand and right before cutting he stops looks at me and says, "who's the man."
then every once in a while he would say, "oops"
OOPS!!!! don't be saying that with sharp instruments down there!!!!

I looked at it this way - if it it allowed me to get laid more often and without having to wear a rubber, it was worth the pain.

Had mine done on the Wednesday before the NCAA tournament started. I had four days of sitting on my ass, holding frozen peas to my junk, watching college basketball. It was great timing.
