And i think your confusing us regarding the whole redneck and sister liking with Steubenville who we beat last year. Dover coaches know what they're doing and play talent over name unlike Phila. And have you noticed that Dover made it to the regional finals the past 3 years? and 4 out of the last 5. So enough said Dover will continue their dominence over Phila and will win a few in the playoffs unlike Phila who plays a weak schedule so they can't make it out of the first round.
I remember Dover bashing Phila for playing Carrollton in recent years, and then Dover turns around and schedules them, and beats the hell out of 'em?!! Just sayin.....

Dover's frosh were dominant last night. They must've really hurt some feelings over there. The scoreboard was turned off before the kids were done shaking hands and the stadium lights were turned off before the Dover kids had finished seeing their parents. Stay classy phila.

The main point was that Carrollton was the big points game for Phila,Dover has been tangling with Avon Lake,Ashland,Canfield and enough good teams that an 8-2 or even a 7-3 season gets them into the playoffs. Besides I have been hearing the Carrollton series is over by mutual consent.

Yes.
Dover is looking to continue their passing attack and score quickly while NP will look to take time off the clock with their solid running game and keep the Dover offense off of the field. They will inevitably catch Dover off guard with a long range pass thrown into the mix. Dover will try to score quick and often in the first half, hoping to send the Quakers to the locker room with a large deficit. Both defenses will have to step up and force the 3-and out. Both teams have good athletes and have proven themselves in close games, so this is easier said in pre-game speaches than accomplished on the field. Because of the huge rivalry factor, records mean nothing once the opening kick-off starts this game. Obviously penalties at critical moments, and more importantly, turnovers will be a deciding factor. I think a big challenge for NP will be special teams; Dover has excellent punt returners which will set up positive field position.

Good luck to both teams - football players, band, cheerleaders, students. Cherish the moment, you'll remember it forever.

This always amazes me....seems like Philly always dominates until high school. I am probably the only person in Philly that doesn't care one way or the other who wins this game.

Philly wins 35-10.

OK, I'm kidding. I hope Philly can pull out the win...but I don't think they will.

It's been that way since I was in school. We got dominated in 7th n 8th then barely squeaked by as frosh and dominated as soph -senior.

DENNISON is a better coach? Lolz

I have a hunch the Dover defense has heard about enough talk about how great the Quaker defense is and will be out to state their case. I think we see an outstanding performance from the Dover defense and Dover cruises to victory.

I agree, this Dover defense will play focused & physical. They'll play with something to prove.

odd H.S. game featuring 2 field goals for each team,2 2 point conversions and 2 touchdowns. Dover had 4 turnovers and way too many penalties for game 10
Phila played a solid game, the Dover defense won it for them, but just by a whisker.
Dover will have to step things up or it will be a short play-off run.

New Phila coach Matt Dennison sure did make a fool out of himself tonight. His actions after this game were inexcusable. I hope he is done at Phila!
