The Zanesville Times recorder has reported Jack Hanna saying that at least 31 animals have been shot and killed.

Maybe I'm just an insensitive prick, but it doesn't bother me at all that the animals are being shot and killed.

The news is worldwide now. It was on the Today show this morning. Been in the LA Times. Been on the news in Baltimore. Supposedly BBC covered it too.

I mean it's not like this is a bunch of dogs running wild or domesticated animals. These are WILD animals. Latest update said they believe they are down to only three animals unaccounted for, a bear, a mountain lion and a monkey. Jack Hanna also said they had no other option last night but to shoot to kill, but sounds like he is hoping to capture the last of them without killing them if possible.

Without getting too political, apparently he let an executive order regarding it that had been done by Strickland expire. The question is whether this will make him change his mind.
