Apparently the Muskingum County sheriff's office has released video of the incident. It's around 2 hours and 45 minutes long.
Shots can be heard. Cruisers can be seen. That's all that is reported so far. I am sure it can be found online eventually.

The casual way he describes this cracks me up.I drove dep Todd Kanavel's personal vehicle which is a pickup truck with several other deputies with automatic weapons up to near the house. I drove around while they shot numerous wild animals.

I imagine some dumb asses carrying a dead lion are lucky they didn't get shot by a truck full of cops with full auto weapons.
