^^^which would be a fantastic way to kill Lori. She gets bit, but they're able to stave off the infection from killing her. However, they forget about the baby, which then rips out of her like something out of Alien! Or the fact that if she has a miscarriage...

If that's the case, then Daryl's brother would have to be a walker because he cut off his own hand. I just don't buy the idea that being bitten does absolutely nothing to you. I think that being bit gets the virus in your system, and it takes ~12 hours to for you to be infected. Or, maybe the virus is quick acting and kills you within 12 hours. Definitely a lot to think about, but is it THAT different from every other Zombie Plague movie as far as how you get infected?

Also, being bitten kills you because of the bacterial infection... It's a slow death as the bacteria slowly kills/shuts down your body... After you die, you revive a walker.

I haven't read the books and I guess they are following those pretty closely. But the downside to offing Sophia is it would have been interesting in a subsequent season to fast forward a few years where she and Carl are teenagers. I think Carl's character could be more interesting as a young teenager...not to mention replacing a fairly mediocre child actor.

The scientist ran blood tests on everybody, so he probably saw the virus strain in all of them. Rick was arguing with him to not kill everybody and to open the doors... That's probably when the scientist felt obligated to tell Rick why he had no hope.

I just think some people put too much stock into the "secret."

And with the recent hints about people turning into zombies with no bites (like those two officers) it's seemingly heading to that reveal.

Looking at twitter and whatnot, it's amazing how many people still don't believe the virus is airborne.

Also, when Shane mentioned that the officers didn't have bites, Rick kind of just passed it off... He said something like "Maybe they were just scratched"... Rick didn't seem too surprised about it.
