I don't think MSU will be able to run the ball on Ohio State, and Miller will make just enough plays to win.
OSU- 31
MSU- 27
OSU- 31
MSU- 27

Big fan of Dantonio and I think he will come in with a good defensive game plan to confuse Miller, and stack the line against the run. If Miller/OSU can't throw the ball any better, it could be a long afternoon. The defense needs to be consistant. At times, they look very good. And at times, they tend to fall asleep. Being at home will definately help OSU. But I think MSU might have just a bit more at this time.

OSU cannot turn the ball over just like this week. Bucks win by 3

I'll say 20-17 Buckeyes, and it pains me to have to pick a score that close because I really don't think Michigan State is any good.

OSU will win 34-20 while Sparty continues to be Sparty.

I think OSU opens up B1G play with a W in this one. It will probably be close...I'll say OSU by 7.

MSU seems to find a way to lose when they should win. 27-20 OSU

Sparty by six. The MSU run game is better than it showed in South Bend

I want the Bucks to win, but I am still not sure that they can hang with even mediocore teams. MSU wins by a FG.

This makes no sense. Or does 3 not count as hanging with a team?

I don't know if OSU can EVEN (the operative word in my post you quoted, implying that MSU is not even mediocore) hang with mediocore teams. MSU is not a mediocore team. What don't you understand?Tiger2003;911457 wrote:This makes no sense. Or does 3 not count as hanging with a team?

MSU I believe is at the worst mediocre, Cousins will make enough mistakes for OSU to get the win. I want to see more Shazier and less Storm Klein and Sweat (they seem to be wearing lead shoes). Miller will get better with more playing time. OSU 31 MSU 17

MSU run game too inconsistent, especially on the road...OSU gets the win in their B1G opener, 28-24

I think Sweat has been our most consistent linebacker.0311sdp;911481 wrote:MSU I believe is at the worst mediocre, Cousins will make enough mistakes for OSU to get the win. This looks like a toss up game. Fickell will have to use smoke and mirrors to win against good teams until he gets all his starters back and Miller understands the passing game better. That may not happen till sometime after the Wisky game. Miller has a lot of QB growing up to do but this past Sat. was a good start. He looked like Troy S. (soph. year) at times.
