Obviously.
Guess I'd rather not take the chance of dying or being crippled for life to make some easy money.

Not so much of a law but I hate when people turn out in front of you and go half the speed limit or turn on the next road.

Something I experienced this morning that really pissed me off. If the weather conditions are too shitty for you to go the speed limit on your motorcycle, you shouldn't be riding it.

I hate it when people complain about driving on the highway, like it's a big deal or something. "Oh, I will just take the back roads, since there's no sense in getting on the highway for 5 minutes." Yeah, well if it saves you 5 minutes on a 10-minute drive, I'd be taking the highway!

And people who use a GPS everywhere they go! Even if they've been there 100 times.

Or even more, the limp dicks who let these people in!
I hate the assholes that drive all the way to the flashing arrow to merge, but I get more pissed at the pussies that let them in. Fuck them.

I also can't stand someone that pulls out in front of you, drives 10-15 under the limit, and then rolls all the stop signs. I say that 85% of the population are shitty drivers.

I may be guilty of that. I always like to see how much time I can shave off of the estimate.

On 376 in PA driving to PIT airport, they actually have signs up telling you when to merge on one project.

The first set says to stay in your lane and wait until the merge point, then the set by the closure says do it now and wait your turn.

I don't know what is dumber, the signs in general or the fact that they tell you to wait until the last second.

Things like that can run pretty smoothly if people weren't idiots. There is no reason to merge a mile before the two lanes become one - it makes the wait longer for everyone aside from the few cars already at the front. If two lanes use some common sense and alternate, by the time you are at that point what does it cost you to let someone go in front of you? About five seconds? Some of the jackass stories on here (people blocking the second lane, etc.) are the exact reason those signs are necessary.

Then with the merge point sign, nobody tries to play merge-tough-guy.

I disagree. If you merge a mile before the lane disappears, there will be more space in between each car, and you can merge while on the go, only slowing down a few miles per hour. But when you go all the way to the end, you are literally merging from a stand-still if you had to wait for someone to let you in. Merging earlier keeps the flow of traffic consistent (albeit a little slower) as opposed to totally stopping traffic and turning it into a 2-way stop sign at the merge point. Drives me nuts.

I don't believe you'd have to completely stop if everyone knows the merge is approaching. That just takes a little awareness and even if a car does have to stop here and there, its better than the idiots who either a) decide they're the merge police and draw the line where they see fit just to be an asshole (god forbid someone drive an extra half mile past me) or b) do fly past everyone and then try to squeeze in when they suddenly run out of room.

I mean, I look and am aware of oncoming vehicles. But I don't wait for them. I'm not going to just not look before I cross but I will cross if I have the right away even if a car is coming. That fucker can stop. If he doesn't I'm always paying attention and will be able to move and in that case I'm getting the douche's license number and that asshole will be hearing from the cops.

The right away. It's found under "FUCK YOU I CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH" in the dictionary.

My friend got hit by a car and had bleeding in the brain and tore both acls. It was the other guys fault and by the time he paid his lawyer fees he only came out with like 25k. I dont think i wanna spend a week in the hospital and all the damn recovery time for 25k. He completely recovered but damn thaty a tough way to earn your money and it was one of the loudest sounds ive ever heard.

True. Also true for the idiot getting on the highway ahead of me: one of the names for the lane you're in is the acceleration lane, fucking accelerate.
