Never mind. He may have slid under that tag. Tag was there to be made, and took awhile to be made.

Second angle made it look like he may have just missed tagging him on the ass. Swiped right past it, maybe.

2nd look he may have been safe.

Get ready to play in 12 hours.

Good news is we didn't use Rafey or Pestano and CP just went 1.

great game from the bullpen and supermanahan and great win by the wahoos. not really concerned that phelps was out - 16th inning and the a's had plenty of chances.

oh and get those damn kids up to cleveland asap. i don't care if we have to charter a f'n plane to do so, just get 'em the hell up here

Went to bed after 10 as I had to be up early today, obviously. Great job by the bull pen. And Hannahan continues to be clutch. Get one today and hope KC can somehow knock off the Kitties.

Just heard Tim Kurkijan on Mike and Mike.

They asked him if Arizona (up 6 games) or Detroit (up 5.5) games had a better chance to blow thier lead. He said "God bless the Indians. They just continue to hang around. It is a miracle that they are where they are."

The Tribe has been hosed on a lot of calls lately, so i don't care if the umps missed one or not. Needless to say, the umpiring this year is the worst I've ever seen.
I stayed up and watched the end of the game., and in real time the play was bang-bang.

And also a rare situation where pinch running for your DH works. No way they even send Thome let alone that he scores.

Choo to the DL, Hagadone and Corey Kluber brought up to reinforce the bullpen after last nights marathon. Durbin and Hermann did a great job keeping the A's at bay and Supermannahan continues his hot streak. Quick turnaround for todays game. Hope they're ready.

I thought he looked DEAD in real time. Replay made it look closer, but he was out.

Yes and no. If correct call is made, you would wish it was Thome running so we had bases loaded 1 out. But he was called safe somehow, so it did work out.

Hope the Royals can get one today. Just found this about Gio:
GONZALEZ is 4-0 when starting against CLEVELAND with an ERA of 0.89 and a WHIP of 1.187.
His team's record is 5-0 in these starts

This guy is a boss. Reghi mentioned earlier in the week that Ubaldo needed to "get it done" last night because he thought game 4 would be the loss in the series. Plus, I have no faith in Fausto AND it is a "businessman's special."

Cause Nick Hagadone was only at AAA for 10 days, so someone had to go to DL so he would be allowed on the roster.

Choo still needed to suck it up though, we need his bat.

Ok. Prediction time.

How many no hit innings does Gonzalez throw this afternoon?

I say he takes it into the 6th.

Gamecast up at the office.

Every inning is nervous time for Fausto but especially the 1st one.

No score bottom 1.
