It is funny that the team promotional slogan "What If?", that seemed so lame when it first came out, has become the thread that most of us fans who haven't given up are hanging by.

Can a young team that is so banged up by injuries catch a veteran team in the waning weeks of the season?...So improbable....seemingly impossible....that's why we are 'fans'.
