Nobody gives a shit about the Little League World Series. People are only watching it because there is nothing else on.

The WNBA gets air time when nothing else is on, yet nobody watches that. I think you are off base dlazz.

I hate the LLWS. Knocks PTI off the air.

I guess I'd be fine with them showing the games and the games only. But I hate that ESPN pimps it with analysis and over promotion. (i.e. Spending time discussing it on Sportscenter). They do the same thing with women's college basketball. Now that they have the rights, they shove it down your throat even though most could care less. They did the same thing with arena football

Agreed! I'd throw in the poker garbage too.

They started and then ruined the poker craze imo. I actually didn't mind watching poker here and there, but then all of a sudden they started covering every single tournament, and it just lost its appeal.

It used to be real bad. You couldn't go through the guide without seeing some sort of poker on an ESPN channel. They still show poker, but not nearly as often.

While we're writing open letters, would somebody please like to write another about this week's ESPN the Magazine issue? They shove Mike Vick down your throat for probably 3/4 of the issue.

One of the real gems was the article titled "What if Mike Vick Were White?" Deadspin posted the story on Friday and asked about the picture of Vick in white face. ESPN then quickly pulled down the image after the Deadspin post, and then just as quickly as they pulled it down, they put it back up. The article itself is pretty stupid. I couldn't even finish it.

This kind of stuff irritates me to no end.

I didn't have to read it either. And for most of it, I didn't choose to. It just would have been nice to get a little bit of variety. I have Vick on my fantasy team and he's a great player, but I am tired of the re-hashing. Anybody who has followed sports knows his story. I really don't care about all of the money he had going to out to his relatives and I really don't care to envision a world where Mike Vick might be white. It was just a lazy issue of ESPN the Mag IMO.

I know it's over. But they blew it out of proportion when most (all) people don't give a shit when it comes to millionaires whining about money.

One of many things I hate about ESPN is their frequent race-baiting. Everything is a race issue to them. You'd think Al Sharpton ran the network for crying out loud.

I just don't see the anger? LLWS....it's not great but OK....I don't see it shoved down like they do negative issues of big things....Farve, Clemens, strikes,LeBron.

I'm not worn down by the LLWS stuff....heard more than plenty about it....but at least it's a pretty positive thing.

I'll just turn it when they harp on stuff like Tiger or TO.
