Preparing a game plan while the students are in finals.

Breaking down every game Oregon has played this year (hope they're paying close attention to Boise and Stanford)

It's not the speed of the offense, it is the one on one match up that you get because of the scheme.
If they play assignment defense they will be fine. It is not a SEC speed type team.

And let's not forget this is probably the fastest D-Line OSU has ever had.

no--you're shitting your pants while they're gaming a strategy on how to best attack Oregon's defense--OSU's defense is just fine, thank you ;)

This is one of the fastest defenses OSU has had, speed will not be a problem. Not sure where the idea that they are slow has come from...

My guess is Tressel and Bollman are logged onto the internet right now, frantically searching this site for offensive ideas from some of the masterminds here. I'm sure they've already contacted the brain trust of ccrunner and ncf for gameplanning ideas. They probably also are asking Belly for assistance with any papers that players need to write in their classes...

I agree. You have to be very disciplined against this offense. Lots of misdirection will be coming at our defense. I feel the key will be controlling the los. If we can do that, I think we'll get a victory.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they run a no-huddle or at the very least, a very up-tempo offense. Establishing the running game, and controlling the clock will also be key for us to win. Actually, JT's very vanilla offense may be the best weapon against Oregon.

They are trying to decide which run up the middle they want to run on their first play of offense.

Trying to figure out a way to get ND on the schedule for a few easy wins before they fire Kelly in 4 years.

Well I certainly hope they aren't developing some new innovative offense for Pryor to run since he was barely able to run our vanilla offense this season. It doesn't take a football genius to see that he lacks most of the fundamentals of being a QB. Hopefully they are working with him on things like making a secondary read, planting his feet, stepping into his throws, protecting the football, etc. Then, and only then, can our offense begin to get more creative.

This matchup favors the Buckeyes IMO. With our power run game, Oregon is too small to stop it. Stay away from trying to pass the ball alot, that's what gets us in trouble against teams with speed.

Our d-line is going to punish them all day.
